Dr. Steve Rollins grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and received his undergraduate degree with honors in biology from Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois. During his time at SIU, he was trained in all aspects of general dentistry while using his skills to aid underserved communities and special needs patients and traveling to Jamaica on a dental mission trip. After graduating with honors, Dr. Rollins moved to Clarkston with his wife and began practicing in Flint. During his five-year tenure, he gained valuable experience treating both adults and children, and he loved helping his patients become more comfortable in the dental chair. Dr. Rollins takes great pride in his ability to ease his patients dental anxiety, allowing them to enjoy their time at the dentist while transforming their smile and regaining their confidence. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Michigan Dental Association (MDA) and the Oakland County Dental Society.

Dr. Rollins has two sons, Oliver and Ellis, and enjoys spending his time away from the office outdoors with his family. Traveling, hiking, kayaking, going on adventures and attending sporting events are a few of their favorite activities. He and his wife, Ashley, are very competitive and love taking on physical challenges. They completed both the Detroit (2013) and Chicago (2016) marathons as well as multiple triathlons and various other racing distances.

By fostering an all-inclusive approach to dental care for adults and children alike, Dr. Rollins dreams of creating life-long bonds with generations of families here at Summit Dental Group. He strives to improve his techniques and broaden his knowledge of dentistry by participating in continuing education courses as well as exploring new technologies that will improve the quality of care and experience for patients.

Kalee joined Summit Dental Group in March 2018 and loves the close family atmosphere with our patients, as well as with our team members. She keeps our office running smoothly by managing our day-to-day operations and ensuring that we maintain an enjoyable environment for everyone in the practice. Kalee is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM) and has completed the Certified Dental Business Professionals program through the Michigan Dental Association (MDA).

Sara completed her associate degree in dental hygiene from Oakland Community College and is licensed to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide. She joined Summit Dental Group in April 2016 after having grown up here as a patient, and she feels right at home in our dental family. Patient care is Saras passion, and she is dedicated to helping her patients feel as comfortable as possible while receiving treatment.

Sara and her fianc, Jeremy, have three wonderful children: Oliver, Elaina and Sidney. Outside of the office, she enjoys gardening, camping, crafting, boating, swimming and spending time with her family.

Mackenzie joined Summit Dental Group in November 2019 and enjoys being part of a smaller practice that feels more like family. She is dedicated to ensuring that our patient care is as high-quality as possible and to assisting Dr. Rollins in providing treatments for our patients.

Mackenzie and her fianc, Adrian, plan on getting married in October 2021 and hope to start a family soon after. When not in the office, Mackenzie can be found spending time with friends and family on the trails and going north in the summer.
