Erick Chamblee, DDS of Summit Dental Group in Akron, Ohio, approaches the profession of dentistry much like he approaches life: He sets goals and then exceeds them. Dr. Chamblee moved to Indiana from Texas as a child and has been contributing to his community, his profession, and the lives of his patients ever since.
He started his professional training at the Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio, where he earned a bachelors degree in biology and graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Chamblee then graduated in the top 10 of his class at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Denver, where he served as vice president of the dental student council during his senior year.
He continued his dental training as a resident in Advanced General Dentistry at Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital, South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) in San Antonio. During his residency, Dr. Chamblee studied dental implant placement, full mouth rehabilitation, gum surgery, and IV sedation techniques.
The residency program also inspired his philosophy of patient-centered care that drives him today. Dr. Chamblee prides himself on providing his patients with gentle, comfortable dental care using up-to-date techniques and state-of-the-art technology.
When hes not in the office, Dr. Chamblee enjoys an active family life with his wife, Ellie, and their four children. He is a parishioner at St. Pauls Church in North Canton, Ohio, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. You can also find Dr. Chamblee volunteering at Aultman Hospital and Refuge of Hope.
Dr. Matthew Jurcak, a native of Olmsted Falls, OH, completed his undergraduate studies and earned his doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2015. Upon graduation from dental school, he proudly served as a U.S. Navy Active Duty Dentist for five years. Throughout his naval career, Dr. Jurcak experienced 10 different dental clinics and worked hand-in-hand with some of the Navys top specialists while gaining invaluable clinical experience.
Dr. Jurcak enjoys creating healthy smiles through careful examination, expert diagnosis, customized treatment, and effective home maintenance for each patient. When it comes to oral health, he prioritizes disease prevention and patient education. He is a member of the American Dental Association, teaches hundreds of children about oral health each year during Childrens Dental Health Month, and has embarked on two international dental mission trips to support global public health initiatives.
Dr. Tim Koehler DMD grew up in Kirtland, Ohio (a far-east suburb of Cleveland). He attended Ohio State University for his undergraduate education and graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in May of 2016. Dr. Koehler completed an additional year of training in a general practice residency program at Summa Hospital in Akron. Dr. Koehler is a member of the American Dental Association. He seeks out high quality continuing education courses to stay up to date with the latest techniques, materials, and research in the field.
Dr. Koehler believes in taking the time to really listen to his patients concerns, educate them, and enable them to make decisions about the most appropriate treatment choices for their specific situation. As the son of a dentist, I understand how valuable and unique the relationship with each patient is.
In his free time, Dr. Koehler enjoys spending time with his family and friends; playing board games, having campfires, and hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. His favorite places to visit include Port Clinton, Hocking Hills, and the Outer Banks.

I've hated visiting the dentist for many, many years after a few unfortunate experiences with nit wits and hacks in my youth. After years of neglect I finally decided to take dental care more seriously and found my way to Summit Dental in Green four years ago or so. I have no complaints at all. In fact, I'd recommend this practice to anyone. The office staff members are friendly and helpful with insurance issues; the hygienists are thorough, gentle(!), and also friendly, informative and encouraging. I've spent relatively little time with the dentists but, when they come in to make their examinations I've found them to be very clear and direct in their assessments, as well as receptive to questions and concerns. Everyone makes it an almost pleasant experience. This week, they did me a great favor when I had a sudden and very painful event with a molar. Despite being busy they found a way to fit me in as soon as possible, and within an hour or so of arriving the issue was resolved. They did me a solid and I'm grateful to all involved for the care and assistance they presented to me in a very painful circumstance. It's a good group. I feel fortunate to have become a patient of these practitioners.

Literally the best experience I have ever had going to the dentist! Every person was so nice; the hygienist, the dentist, the girls at the desk - everyone! I received no judgement or rude remarks -- it had been quite a while since I was at the dentist, because life. BUT - now that I found Summit Dental Group it will be a regular thing for me! I have been attending Summit Dental Group for 25 years! My kids and husband now go there, too! They are a wonderful group of people! The facility is very clean, too. On my most recent visit in July, they took many extra precautions to make me feel safe during these very uncertain times. I highly recommend Summit Dental!

I can't say that the dentist is my favorite place and, to be honest, I hadn't been in a few years. But everyone at Summit Dental in Green was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable. My hygienist, Morgan, was great! She was gentle (yet effective) and explained everything she was doing along the way! The facility was bright, new and clean. With the Summit Dental Group, I don't fear visiting the dentist! Thank you for making this experience a positive one!
