I was born and raised in Olympia, WA where I attended Capital High school. I began my dental journey at the University of Washington where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, while volunteering as a dental assistant in the community health centers. I then attended the University of Washington for dental school. After receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at UW, I left Washington state for the first time to complete a one-year General Practice Residency at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada. At UNLV, I learned more advanced procedures such as implant placement, sedation techniques, and surgical techniques. My love for the Pacific Northwest drew me back home where I have been working in private practice in Bellevue and Mukilteo, finding a home in downtown Seattle.
I met my beautiful wife, Jess, while playing kickball in the Underdog Sports League in Seattle. We immediately hit it off and married in 2019. We welcomed our precious daughter, Ara, in December of 2020. Jess and I fill our weekends with afternoon walks around Green Lake, skiing, and attending UW Huskies tailgates. I also enjoy watching sports, playing golf, and hosting BBQs with friends and family.
I really enjoy meeting people and learning about everyone's diverse background, as my family, as well, has their own unique story. To be able to combine this with helping patients achieve their very best oral health is just icing on the cake. I look forward to meeting you soon at Summit Dental Care!
Office Manager Theary is originally from Cambodia and came to the US when she was 10 years old. Our patients can count on Theary to help with all their insurance processing and financial arrangement needs, as well as being one of the first faces to greet patients when they enter the practice. Theary truly enjoys helping people, especially when it means they get the dental care they need. Theary is happy to be working with a team that is so pleasant and caring. We all put our patients first and give our best efforts every day! In Thearys spare time she likes to read books, paint, hike, ski, golf and dance (salsa and tango). She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Dental Hygienist Naomi is from the Mukilteo, WA area and went to high school at Kamiak High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington and then studied Dental Hygiene at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. She works extremely hard for our practice and patients to provide the best care that she can and enjoys working in the downtown Seattle area. In her free time Naomi enjoys outdoor sports such as hiking and rock climbing. Her favorite climbing gym in Seattle is the Seattle Bouldering Project and on the weekends, you can find her out camping with friends.
Dental Assistant Jaime is our awesome dental assistant. She has been in dentistry for over 20 years and is so gentle and knowledgeable about so many different areas of dentistry. She is originally from Spokane, WA, but has called Seattle home since 1995. When she is not caring for her patients, she is spending time with her partner of almost 3 years and her 1-year-old cat named Jack. Her passion about dentistry is educating her patients about the importance of regular dental care and most importantly, getting to know them on a personal level.
