PAINFUL EXPERIENCE. FAILED ROOT CANAL AND THEY WONT EVEN TAKE MY DENTIST'S CALLS OR MY CALLS. DENTIST REFERRED ME HERE FOR ROOT CANAL. AFTER FAILING THIS DR WOULD NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS FAILED PROCEDURE. UPDATE: AFTER SPENDING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS I ENDED UP HAVING TO GET THE TOOTH PULLED (I FEEL SCAMMED). RUN!!!!!!! AWAY!!!!!!FAST!!!!! THERE ARE MANY OTHER PLACES TO CHOOSE FROM.

Great staff and experience. Had some tooth trouble one Thursday afternoon and they went out of their way to take care of me! Very impressed with how friendly and professional everyone is at the office. Highly recommend.

What a great experience! I find that Dr. Adams takes time to explain all the procedures. He explains all the pros and cons of the treatment so that I can make an independent judgment. Dr. Adams is the first dentist who paused to ask me if anything hurt and it was the first time I had totally pain-free dentistry. The root canal you did for me feels great. The assistant and front desk people are considerate, caring and great professionals.

Scary unprofessional. I liked the dentist, but the assistant was scary incompetent and the front office staff was mistake prone. The assistant took an x-ray while the lead apron was on my lap instead of covering my chest! She appeared to need to take each x-ray twice to get it right. She was really klutzy... not someone you want handling dental tools. She struggled with the dental apparatus she was inserting in my mouth and kept poking me hard. I could feel it despite the fact I'd been given anesthetic. After jabbing me several times, I protested and she called in the dentist who got it no problem. She was not even capable of adjusting the headrest on the chair! What's worse, at one point the dentist left the room and she was drilling. Is this even legal? The front office got the first estimate wrong. Shortly after work was started, they said they had "forgotten" something and gave me a revised -- higher -- estimate. Also, when I left I was given a Rx but none of the written instructions I was promised. When I asked for written instructions, I was given only a handwritten sticky note. What's more, they insisted on taking a $200 x-ray that duplicated an x-ray my referring dentist had just taken. Of course, insurance won't cover the second set because it just covered the first set. When I asked why not use the x-ray from the referring dentist, I was told they couldn't send it over. Really? X-rays have been loaded onto CDs since last century. File sharing sites have made it easy to exchange large files instantaneously for more than a decade. Are these folks in the Dark Ages? Or is this willful incompetence aimed at fleecing people? And although the dentist seemed okay, he seems to be either unaware of the problems with his staff or just doesn't care. It doesn't matter which: It was a horrible experience that left me with no confidence in the outcome.

Had a Root Canal appointment and staff and Doctor were great!! I called that morning because I was in pain and they got me in right away. The office was very efficient and gave me my estimated out of pocket so I would know what I owed before my visit. They let me know that they would bill my insurance and if they picked up anything extra they would refund me. Assistants in the back were very knowledgeable and explained everything they were doing. Dr. Adams was very accurate and made sure throughout the procedure that I was doing ok. Explained in detail after treatment. I would absolutely recommend this office and the music is great too!

VERY FILTHY!!!!!! Unsanitary. Please clean your equipment after use. I walked out of here, wouldn't even let them touch me, scared I'd catch an infection or something.

I have extreme dental anxiety and this was hands down the best experience I've ever had getting dental work done. Not only was he able to get me completely numb after a few injections (when it normally takes more than 8 tries for my normal dentist), he was incredibly gentle when doing my root canal. Every other experience I've had in Reno with dentists they are extremely heavy handed and always feels rushed. I had virtually zero pain even hours after. If you are looking for an endodontist this place is seriously the place to go. The assistant was also incredibly kind and understanding of my anxiety and answering questions!

I had a bit of an emergency with a root canal that was hurting and was referred to them because my dentist wasn't available. They did an x-ray and then the doctor asked me the history of the tooth looked at the gums and poked at the tooth a little. After that he took about 4 minutes to tell me the tooth needed to be extracted and that they don't do that. Didn't pull up the x-ray or anything else. He said that they would follow up with my dentist office but never did. Didn't even refer me to someone. I just must have gotten unlucky and probably didn't know the right things to ask or say at the time. I hope that by leaving this they improve their process a little bit. What is really frustrating is of course I have to pay for the visit. It just feels wrong to pay for 30 min in the office and the only thing you get is to be told sorry we don't do that.

I cannot thank this office enough for how great they are. I have high anxiety at the dentist and they were sure to ease any of my fears and were extremely non-judgmental. Both the dentists and the assistants were constantly checking in on me and making sure I didn't have any questions. Out of all of my dental work I've had done, this root canal was the least painful. The front desk staff is also super friendly and helpful!

Just need to share the excellent visit I had here for a root canal. I was referred by my dentist to Dr. ADAMS at summit because I had a difficult procedure to be done because of calcification of the roots. My first visit here and I was treated like an old friend. Everyone was courteous, professional and most of all, friendly! I've had 5 root canals done in my lifetime and let me say this was the fastest and most painless that I ever experienced. Dr. ADAMS is a great endodontist and his chairside manner is impecible. I strongly recommend Summit Dentistry. I would change in a heartbeat but I've been with my regular dentist for 20 years. But if you are looking for a new dentist or need a specialist please check with them. Thank you again doctor and staff for my most excellent visit today. You guys rock!
