Dr. West has been a trusted dentist for well over 30 years so far, having spent most of that time right here at our current location. To this day, shes still very passionate about helping patients overcome their dental problems and achieve smile-related goals, whether that means relieving chronic oral pain or simply achieving a higher degree of self-confidence! Dr. West first entered the dental field at the young age of 17, starting out as an assistant. One of her biggest interests is microbiology, so she completed her undergraduate degree in the subject while also transitioning to dental hygiene. Following graduation, she immediately enrolled in dental school and the rest is history. Today, she still couldnt be happier with her current profession and loves how much a beautiful, healthy smile can transform someones self-esteem and quality of life.
After graduating with her Bachelors in Microbiology from Cerritos College, Dr. West pursued her dental doctorate at the University of Southern California Dental School. Ever since then, she has been tirelessly dedicated to the completion of hundreds and even THOUSANDS of hours of continuing education, far beyond the normal yearly requirements. This includes rigorous coursework through the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute, where she has studied full mouth reconstruction, aesthetic dentistry, neuromuscular/craniofacial pain, and sleep medicine. At home, Dr. West and her husband are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters. Their oldest just graduated from dental school Summa Cum Laude! The youngest is also currently enrolled in dental school while also being a professional triathlete. Now that the children are grown and out of the house for the most part, she and her husband spend lots of time traveling to different parts of the world and getting immersed in various cultures. They also regularly hike and play with their two Labradoodles.
Heres an interesting fact about Dr. West that you may not know: she used to do ventriloquism, magic, and dance! Her ventriloquism act was called Pam & Eggs and she performed for elementary schools, talent shows, theaters, and underprivileged/hospital residents. She also danced hip-hop, tap, and jazz for decades. To this day, she still loves dancing and watching magicians.

I have had an amazing experienc. I came in with tooth pain and was taken immediately. coming from NYC I certainly did not expect that kind of service. I ended up having a wisdom tooth removed. the recovery was much more manageable than the pain that brought me in to see them. Amazing staff ane beyond professional.

The night before I had a flight from NY to Las Vegas, my front teeth chipped badly and I had no idea where should I go in Vegas to fix my teeth. After I landed in Las Vegas, based on google reviews for best cosmetic dentistry, I called Summerlin Center for Aesthetic Dentistry, and they scheduled me for next day for bonding. I was so lucky that Dr. Gorczyca was available to fix my front teeth with bonding. Also, she was very caring and details oriented to evaluated my other front teeth the same time and gave me some advice. She did a great job on my front teeth bonding and I'm very happy with it. If I was living in Las Vegas, I would definitely continue all my dental treatments with her. I hope to see her again in future. I definitely recommend her and Summerlin Center for Aesthetic Dentistry.

Dr. West and back office staff are wonderful. They are very caring and Dr. West is so incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic in her practice. Her positive energy is amazing! 2 front office receptionist are also very friendly and courteous. Sadly the financial office manager (I am sure that isn't her official title) lacked sensitivity and professionalism. I felt like i was treated like a low life. I want to emphasize that care is wonderful from dr. West, but sad that one person has dropped the rating from a solid 5 to a 3. It is impossible to explain the entire scenario that occurred today. I was almost in tears when I left today. Front staff even seemed embarrassed that financial office manager was unwilling to appreciate my situation and request. I am in a tough situation. I will need to return for follow up but so disheartened that not sure if I can/want to. Only one other time in my life have I left a doctor due to office staff. Sadly this may be the second time. They are the first and last people you see and their impression is lasting.

Dr West and Dr Gorczyca are the best! I've been a patient at their dental office for four years. Their work is professional and top notch. The staff is attentive and always friendly and knowledgeable. I've had several crowns done, which they do on a same day basis, and the results have been just right, feeling natural and looking better than natural. I'm glad to have them as my dentists!
