Hello, my name is Dr. Hieu Phan. I was born and raised in Vietnam. My family and I came to South Carolina in 1995 and we have lived here ever since. I started my undergraduate studies at Winthrop University but later transferred to the University of South Carolina where I graduated Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Exercise and Sport Science. I received a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. In 2014, I married my beautiful wife Olivia. We have two children, Leo and Mia.
Because of growing up in a third world country, I have always been passionate about those less fortunate in our society. I have gone to Honduras and Haiti for dental missions trips to provide free dental treatments for those in need and have volunteered my services at a free dental clinic. Besides dentistry, I enjoy playing soccer, fishing, hunting, and playing musical instruments.
Hi, Im Mariah! I was born and raised in the CSRA. In 2014, I made a drastic career change, and I could not be happier that I chose dentistry! I became a part of Dr. Phans team in June 2017. I have to say, I am so lucky to work with such a caring, enthusiastic, and fun team. Educating our patients and seeing them love their smile is what has made me love dentistry. I currently live in Edgefield with my husband, Cody and our beautiful son, Jackson. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love going to the beach, boating at the lake, and making memories with our family and friends.
Hola! I'm Jennifer! I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I moved to the CSRA in 2014. I have worked in the dental field for twelve years and I have been with Summerhill Family and Cosmetic Dentistry since 2018. I thoroughly enjoy helping patients navigate insurance and it is a great joy working with this team. I have been happily married to my husband for eight years and we have three beautiful children. In my free time, I like to take road trips with my family and explore new sites.
Hi, I am Sherla. I was born and raised in the CSRA. I have four wonderful children and seven grandchildren. I am one of the two hygienists at Summerhill Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. After being a legal secretary for 14 years, I decided to go back to school for dental hygiene. In 2002, I graduated from MCG with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I love the dental field and enjoy the relationships I am able to build. I began working for Dr. Stephens in August 2015 and was happy when Dr. Phan welcomed Dr. Stephens team to remain with him. It is a privilege to work with such an enthusiastic and caring dentist. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family, serving God, gardening, reading and traveling the world.
Hi, Im Suzy! I was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area of Virginia and have lived in North Augusta since 2013. I have been practicing Dental Hygiene since 2007. I have worked at Summerhill Family and Cosmetic Dentistry since 2015. It is great working with such an excellent team of people and I love building relationships with my patients while promoting healthy smiles! I have two grown children and one grandson. In my free time, I care for the animals on the farm that I share with my husband. I also enjoy being active in my church, reading, going out with friends, going to the beach and spending as much time as I can with my large, extended family.
Hi, my name is Amber. I was born and raised in the CSRA. I graduated from Aiken Technical College in 2012 with a diploma in Applied Science, majoring in Expanded Duty Dental assisting. I have three wonderful children; two sons and a daughter, and I am happily married to my husband, Anthony. I have been working at this office since November 2012. I really enjoy being on this team and working as a chair side dental assistant with Dr. Phan. I love helping each patient walk out of our office with a beautiful smile! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and our two dogs.
Hi, my name is Autumn! I was born in Illinois, but I grew up in Aiken, SC. I graduated from Aiken Technical College in 2015 and majored in Expanded Duty Dental Assisting. I first became interested in dentistry when my dad had his smile transformed with crowns on his front teeth. My dad went from never showing his teeth when he smiled to smiling with confidence. I love assisting in the transformation of our patients smiles and helping to educate patients on oral health conditions, dental procedures, and proper oral hygiene techniques. I am delighted that I am able to work with such a wonderful team. In 2017, I married my sweet husband, Ryan. Together, we enjoy cooking, playing board games, and spending time with our German Shepherd, Atticus!

I love the friendly staff and the dentist does great work I would recommend coming my smile is coming back thank you summerhill family and cosmetic dentistry for giving me back a beautiful smile

Root canal, deep scaling, a few cavitiies and several cleanings. The dentist is younger so should only grow with experience. Knows his limitations(referred me to elsewhere for chipped tooth). Very friendly staff. Good prices. Metlife accepted.

Dr. Phan has no bedside manner at all. The office and hygienists' are very kind but it doesn't make up for his horrible attitude and cruel behavior.

My family and I have been coming to this amazing team for almost 3 years now. We are a busy family of 7 and Miss Mariah and Miss Jennifer always go ABOVE and BEYOND to see to it that we were always conveniently scheduled. I appreciate these ladies so much! They are truly a joy! My children are always asking when is the next time they get to go to the dentist :) Truly a blessing!

DO NOT GO HERE!! I got fillings back in December and my teeth hurt more months later than i did before i got the fillings. The only thing i got from this dentist visit is more pain!! The Dr. is also very unprofessional. His whole family came in in the middle of my appointment so of course he got up to do their check ups WHILE WORKING ON ME i waited for an hour for him to finish. Crazy. Do not recommend

Super blessed to have found this office. My family and I will not go anywhere else for our dental needs but here. Just as expressed in previous reviews, they will say that your appointment time is different than what was scheduled...they argued about the time. As I waited, another lady came a and they told her the same thing. She took off of work to come!!!!!! The dentist did not properly numb my son's mouth to do a filling. He patched it and referred him to another dentist. They pick and choose who they want as a clientele, read between the lines. They weed out who they do not want. Absolutely horrible experience. Don't waste your time.

They are not Kid friendly. took my daughter here for a root canal . he had my child mouth scratched open so wide that she had a score in the corner of her mouth the next morning.
