Always a great experience! The staff is helpful and honest. I went to another dentist who said I had 21 cavities that needed to be filled. I was shocked bc I had never had any cavities prior. Decided to get a 2nd opinion so I went to see Dr. Judson. Guess what... I had ZERO cavities. Honesty wins every time!

I had a good experience with my first visit. Full exam X-ray and cleaning. I have a little work to be done and will be back

Dr Judson thank you so much!!! The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Dr Judson did what four other dentist could not. Everyone had trouble getting healing cap out that was stripped and he got it out in like 6 seconds and he told me to come in right away. I am so grateful for your efforts and making sure I understood everything that happened previously and what you were doing to ensure the cap was removed. Thanks again!!!!

I was about 10-15 minutes late and my mother was 20 minutes late because we were stuck at school and work and didn't have a chance to leave on time. A short blonde woman told me and my mother that being 10-15 minutes we couldn't see the dentist because it was 4:15 already and they close at 5:00 made us feel like an inconvenience for them because we got late from personal reasons and they wanted to close and leave on time. will never use this dentist place ever again very horrible.

Ive only had 3 experiences with Summerfield Family Dental, and all 3 have been less than stellar. My first appointment, i showed up 15 minutes early to sign the new patient paper work as they had requested when i set up the appointment. When i arrived, I was told i was 10 minutes late. Luckily, they were able to "fit" me in, even though im 99.99% sure they either told me the wrong time or they inputted it incorrectly on their end because i wrote it down at the time they told me. But maybe I miss heard.. No big deal My 2nd appointment, i missed a call the day before my appointment. A voicmail was not left. I called back the following morning and was notified the hygienist (or dentist, i cant remember) was out sick and they needed to reschedule my appointment. Even though i took the afternoon off of work, i understand, people get sick sometimes. I rescheduled for a few weeks later.. No big deal My 3rd appointment, I once again missed a call late in the afternoon the day before my appointment. No voicemail was left. I assumed they were calling to confirm my appointment, but i couldn't remember the exact time i needed to be there, so i called them back at 8am the next morning to confirm. I was told my appointment was for 2pm that afternoon and they'll see me then. When i arrived, i gave the receptionist my name and after looking my name up she tells me "it says here that we tried contacting you multiple times to let you know your hygienist is out sick." I was called once with no voicemail, email, and had my appointment confirmed that morning. They attempted to call upcoming appointments, hoping someone wouldn't show up so they could fit me in, but no luck. I was offered a new appointment a couple weeks out, but no thanks. 3 strikes and your out. This Dentist might be great, but I was having too tough of time to get past the front office to find out. Maybe i was just unlucky?

The dentists may be fabulous, however I will never know because the front desk staff would not help me and actually hung up on me. Very bad customer service! They should definitely consider hiring better people to answer the phones.

I waited for my appointment. I went to this office to be treated badly by the office staff knowing I have panic attacks in dental offices. I had the first appointment possible but 4 people were taken ahead of me. I was asked to fill out new patient information, even though I'm not a new patient. Then when I am in the dental chair, I was asked for my insurance information. I had asked the Friday before if everything was set to give this to them in advance. The office lady cornered me in a chair and started speaking to me in a humiliating way, cornered! I began to have a panic attack. I will NOT return here!!!! The reply from family dental is not accurate. I spoke to someone FRIDAY and confirmed insurance. I guess they couldn't be bothered to verify until they cornered me in the office chair. Whatever the case, they should NEVER be confrontational in the chair under no circumstances. It was always noted in my file that I have panic attacks at dental offices. This was not something new to them. I even verified with them. I had the first appointment available of the day and 3 people were taken in front of me. That's how they treat people.

I have been going here for 3 years. I went to an amazing dental practice in VA and had a hard time finding one of the same quality here. Jorge is my hygienist and he is amazing! Knowledgeable, friendly and loves what he does. Front desk is friendly and willing to answer questions and always pleasant. Love that they recognize and remember me.

My first time at Summerfield Family Dental was an amazing experience. The front desk was very friendly and the best part was the Hygienist, Katherine Melo. She was professional, sweet and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend Summerfield Family Dental.

Most racist experience of my life!! My mother just had the same experience. As she walked in the door the lady doing intake shouts that they do not accept her insurance because they don't take Obamacare. For one ,she doesn't have Obamacare and never have, since she has private insurance through her employer. Two, how are they able to do that?!?! Just shout at random black people as soon as they open the door that they don't take Obamacare. Have some decency. Very poor service!! Would def give 0 stars if we could
