Weston was born in Missouri but was raised on the move in the Air Force. He came to North Carolina in 1986. He attended North Carolina School of Science and Math in Durham, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at NC State, and completed dental school at UNC Chapel Hill. He then spent years as a Navy dentist before joining a private practice in Boone, NC. He then married a Greensboro gal and happily returned to the heart of North Carolina.
Dr. Weston brings over 20 years of clinical experience, as well as completing a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in the US Navy. The intensive program afforded him hands-on experience in a broad range of dental procedures.
Dr. Jenny obtained her dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated in 2009 with honors. Prior to earning her DDS degree she served the Greensboro area for eight years as a dental hygienist. As well as bringing over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Jenny brings a well rounded perspective, which allows her to deliver truly comprehensive care. Every year more links are discovered between a healthy mouth and the overall health of the individual.
Dr. Jenny, the better half of Dr. Ben Weston, enjoys providing patients with the absolute highest level of care the Summerfield team and provide patients with the absolute highest level of care. Dr. Jenny enjoys a wide spectrum of dentistry and especially enjoys providing patients with top quality dentures and removable partials. Having spent 2 years in a childrens health clinic, Dr. Jenny is also very comfortable treating children. She is committed to furthering her dental education by yearly continuing education courses.
Dr. Jenny is native to Centralia, Missouri, but has called North Carolina her home since 1995. Outside the office Dr. Jenny enjoys running, reading and spending time with her family. Together Drs. Ben and Jenny have three children: Andy the basketball player, Aimee an avid reader and soccer player and Jack, the young one who keeps everyone on their toes.
Dr. Chadwick was born and raised on the coast in Beaufort, NC. With a long line of Pirates in her family, she attended East Carolina University for undergrad, where she met her fianc Brandon. She continued her studies at ECU receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine, before moving to Fayetteville, NC. She completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, receiving training in advanced restorative, removable (dentures, partials, etc.), surgery including implants, and management of medically compromised patients.
Dr. Chadwick is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She enjoys boat rides at sunset, eating pimento cheese on the beach, riding her bike, reading, and spending time with family, friends, Brandon and their adopted fur baby, Orville.
Dr. Chadwicks goal is to leave a lasting impression on each of her patients, reflecting her attentiveness to their needs and wishes, and desire to improve their quality of life through not only their oral health but their overall wellbeing.
Tonya is our front office manager and is dedicated to making your visit smooth and hassle free. She brings many years of experience in the dental field with her. Feel free to call Tonya with any questions regarding treatment plans, scheduling, insurance and financial information. Outside the office she loves running, playing tennis and is the proud mother of 2 wonderful children.
Jessica had been a dental assistant for 8 years. She has an outgoing personality and strives to know more about her patients. She is eager to make them comfortable while in the chair, always offering her hand to hold. Jessica is a devoted wife to her husband Wesley and their son Dawson, who is the light of her life. She also doesn't leave out her boxer Couper. She and her husband love to travel and in her free time she loves spending time with her family and attending church.
Rachel is a native of Florida and moved to NC to pursue her degree in dental hygiene. She graduated form GTCC in 2012 and was voted 'The Most Dedicated Student'. Rachel is very passionate about her work and looks forward to creating positive experiences for her patients. Aside from dentistry she and her husband enjoy taking vacations, fishing, hunting, horseback riding and most importantly tending to their small fur babies that include a Lhasa Apso, 2 cats and a small flock of chickens.
JoAnna graduated from GTCC after completing the dental assisting program in 1994. Aside from the dental experience she brings, her dynamic personality and genuine care for her patients just comes naturally. JoAnna has a warm chairside manner that makes everyone feel comfortable and relaxed the moment you take a seat. In her free time JoAnna enjoys spending time with her family. She also has a passion for exercising, spending time at the lake and tending to her flowers.
Guadalupe is the newest member to the administrative team here at Summerfield Family Dentistry. She is a graduate of UNCG and has lived in Greensboro for 17 years. She brings with her 8 years of administrative dental experience. She and her husband, Jamie, are the proud parents of three children. Outside of the office she enjoys reading, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
Caroline has been setting her patient's at ease since 2015. Not only does she have a great smile, she enjoys helping her patients achieve a beautiful smile as well. Outside of work Caroline and her fianc Jordan like to travel, spend time with friends, family and their dog Colt.
As a certified dental assistant, Ciara has a passion for dentistry and is committed to you as a patient. Since she was young, the field of dentistry has interested Ciara and she has always known that the dental field is the path for her. After a full day of dentistry she relaxes with family and friends.
