Dr. Jim Craig did his undergraduate work atBrigham Young Universityin Provo Utah and graduated from dental school at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Dr. Craig was an associate professor at theUniversity of Missouri Dental School, where he taught courses in Clinical Dentistry, Biochemistry and Histology. Dr. Craig and his wife, Angela, are the proud parents of six great kids. Dr. Craig and his family love the outdoors and are constantly in search of the perfect campsite, mountain biking trail or rock to climb.
Patients come from all over the world to see Dr. Craig. Its not uncommon for him to see patients from Texas, California, New York, England or Wyoming. He also commonly welcomes patients from Aurora, Centennial, Englewood, Denver, Parker and the Denver Tech Center.
Dr. Shall grew up in Virginia Beach and went to school at the University of Virginia where she became an avid rock climber. After school she went to UNLV for dental school. Dr. Shall has completed advanced training in Root Canals and Surgery but she is adept at all types of dentistry. Personally, Dr. Shall lives with her partner Becca and together they enjoy rock climbing, skiing and traveling the world.
Dental implants are developed to provide a structural base for substitute teeth that behave and operate like natural teeth. The client who has lost a tooth or multiple teeth will have the ability to eat just about anything and can smile with dignity, recognizing that their teeth are nearly natural and that the contours of their original smile will remain. Implants are small titanium posts that are positioned in the bone of the jaw where teeth are absent. The bone joins with the titanium, providing a solid base for the artificial teeth implants. Additionally, dental implants can help maintain facial features, stopping depletion of the bone that occurs while teeth are missing.

Oct 10, 2022----Great visit today for my dental cleaning! The visiting hygienist was friendly, thorough and efficient. The front office seemed a bit stressed and I missed seeing the familiar faces I have come to know as a fairly new patient. I know change is inevitable, just hoping the turnover will be minimal. Not sure if Dr. Schall is still there?

I have been coming to this location long before Dr. Craig was there. It's convenient and I find the hygienist to be very friendly and gentle. Also, the fact they can do a procedure like crowns in a single visit is a benefit. The main issue I have with Summerbrook is they are constantly upselling. They collect 50% upfront for all services. I don't have to do that with procedures done at a doctor's office. Also, it seems like I am also billed above estimate with every procedure. Addendum: As Dr. Craig mentioned, he contacted me to discuss the issues I described in the review above. He explained the intricacies and complications of dealing with insurance. He also explained his intent behind "upselling" is to try and save the patient money by suggesting preventative measures instead of doing expensive procedures, mentioning all of these are sold to the patient at cost. I think the important point to take from our conversation is the fact Dr. Craig took time out of his busy schedule to discuss my concerns. He was truly interested and it was appreciated. The bottomline is, Summerbrook Dental works very hard to make your dental experience a very good one. Like all services that deal with insurance, it's not an exact science and can get somewhat convoluted. They do the best they can.

Excellent, prompt professional service. I broke a tooth adjacent to my partial. I have a video interview scheduled within a week. I was able to get in, have the broken tooth removed and partial fixed within 4 days! The service was fast and professional, along with a fantastic staff!!!

Caution should be the name of Summerbrook! I spent thousands with this dental company. After $2500 deductible, I spent thousands out of pocket. My complaint has nothing to do with prolonging my teeth, which is the ultimate goal. The problem is, after a root canal, they build your crown onsite. Which at the time I thought was absolutely amazing. Also , they remade the crown 3 times shaving it down to get the right fit. Fast-forward a few years, and boy was I wrong. I found out building a crown in 45 min is not the best option if you plan on keeping your crown. The crown cracked two years later and when I called Summercrooks to fix it, they said it's not covered because I don't go to this office for regular check-ups. I checked with other dentists, and they said the cheap crowns they make only last a few years.They dont care about you. Only how deep your pocketbook is! Never again... never again!! Stay away if you want your crown to last.

Summerbrook is the best dentist I have ever been to. The office is full of caring people who listen to my issues and are sensitive to the fact that being at the dentist can be a stressful experience. Kaelin was a great assistant. She was positive and upbeat with the kind of energy that let's you relax and laugh even though you are stressed out and Dr Craig was professional, confident, and pleasant and I knew I was in good hands.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE DR. CRAIG! THE STAFF IS EXCELLENT ALSO. I WAS A PATIENT BEFORE AND I LEFT FOR ABOUT FOUR YEARS. I AM BACK AS OF LAST WEEK. I SHOULD HAVE NEVER LEFT THEM! MY OTHER DENTIST SAID I NEEDED A ROOT CANAL, AND TODAY I WAS TOLD NOT YET! THEY ASK WHAT NAME YOU PREFER TO BE CALLED BY AND REMEMBER TO USE IT. THE OTHER DENTAL OFFICE DIDN'T. THE STAFF IS HAPPY, AND I REMEMBER THAT FROM YEARS AGO. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE SUMMERBROOK!
