Creating beautiful smiles and delivering quality orthodontic care for my patients is a wonderfully rewarding feeling to me. For that reason, I believe everyone should love their smile and Im honored to provide excellent care to my patients to promote self-esteem and self-confidence.
For that reason, my vision for Summer Orthodontics is the result of years of education and experience. As a California native enduring Philadelphia winters for my orthodontic residency, the dream of an office with a view of the Pacific Ocean motivated me through cold, winter nights.
As a practicing orthodontist, the importance of staying current on the latest advances in orthodontics has been a top priority. In fact, todays orthodontic treatment is truly amazing. As a matter of fact, every year there are new advances being made. Above all, I make sure I have the most up-to-date training to achieve the best possible results.
Furthermore, as a mom, I know the value of every patients and parents time. Our office goes to great lengths to respect everyones time throughout the treatment process. Therefore, the treatment plans of Summer Orthodontics are designed to progress our patients along as efficiently as possible.
Similarly, as a professional caregiver, it is very important to me to answer all questions and explain my treatment plans each step of the way. Choosing the right treatment plan is a big decision that can sometimes feel overwhelming. Moreover, my job is to minimize this stress by arming patients and parents with the knowledge they need to make the best, most informed decisions.
Likewise, as a health advocate, I enjoy practicing healthy choices in my personal and professional life. In my free time, I enjoy yoga and pilates and preparing healthy meals with my family. Thus, my focus on healthy choices is the foundation for Sustainable Smiles.

Summer orthodontics deserve 10 stars! My daughter started her braces at the beginning of the pandemic and now she is braces free and showing off her beautiful smile and perfect teeth with pride. All this thanks to Dr. Summer and her wonderful staff. I highly recommend this practice, they are polite and very friendly. Extremely happy with the results! Thank you Dr. Summer and staff

To the staff of Summer Orthodontics, Our first visit couldn't have been more pleasant, welcoming and easy. Alexandra did an amazing job with Noah making him feel comfortable and at ease and she explained everything with thoughtfulness and care. Having Noah first fill out a card about himself and at the same time learning facts about Dr. Summer was an excellent tool helping him feel more at ease and also part of the process. And then he was excited about meeting Dr. Summer. Noah left there feeling very good about it and that's all you can hope for in what can be a challenging and scary thing for kids. The whole experience couldn't have been more positive so thank you to the entire staff for making it so easy and we look forward to our future visits. All the best. :).

Simply amazing! This place rocks! The office is beautiful, great music playing, and the entire staff is second to no one. Everyone is fun and professional, and I didn't want to leave. Alex is tremendous. Dr. Summer is phenomenal. When was the last time you were able to say that about an orthodontist visit?

Dr. Summer and her entire staff, are super friendly, helpful, professional. And it is a very warm and inviting office. Must give a special shout-out to Alex. When my daughter took the news of braces hard (lots of tears!), Alex was so patient and kind with her, walking us through everything step by step and answering all of our questions. Walked out feeling confident! Thank you Alex! And Dr. Summer :)

Our experience has been great. The office staff and Orthodontists are always on the ball. They are good at communicating all the details and next steps. We have been happy and strongly recommend Summer Orthodontics.

Our family highly recommends Dr. Summer and her team at Summer Orthodontics! All 3 of our kids got Invisalign and then my husband and I followed. We always felt so well taken care of by Dr. Summer and her staff. They are accommodating, friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and Dr. Summer is very patient with the process and always listens to our feedback and wishes. A++++

Highly recommended, beautiful, state of the art office. From the front desk to the assistants to the doctor, everyone is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and quick. I'm extremely satisfied with the results and feel confident that if I need anything with the aftercare of my teeth and retainer I will get the same swift and thorough care received during my Invisalign year. I love that in my 40s I was able to correct something so easily and painlessly and it has made such a huge difference! Thanks for everything!

Dr. Summer and her whole team are the best.
