Dr. Samer Dar is a native of Spring, Texas. He attended Klein High School and went to college at Southern Methodist University on a scholastic scholarship where he earned a B.S. in Biology. He then went on to earn his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. He graduated in the top 15% of his class on the Deans honor list.

Dr. Dar received numerous awards in Dental School including the prestigious American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Award, Southwest Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Award and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Award.

After completing his dental degree, Dr. Dar received his medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York. He completed a year ofGeneral Surgery training and a six-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at North Shore-LIJ in New York. During his residency, he obtained extensive training in Craniofacial Surgery, Orthognathic Surgery, Cleft Lip/Cleft Palate repair, Facial Trauma, Facial Reconstruction, Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Head and Neck Pathology, TMJ Surgery and Dental Implants.

Kathryn has been in the dental field as an Office Manager for over 10 years. Kathryns expertise in dental insurance, insurance coding and billing, overall patient satisfaction, and practice management is a tremendous asset to our office here at Summer Creek Dental!

She has been a member of the AADOM (American Association of Dental Office Managers) for several years and regularly attends continuing education and training courses. She attended Houston Baptist University and studied in Biology and Psychology.

She resides in the Atascocita/Humble area with her husband Michael, and their 3 handsome boys. In her personal time, Kathryn likes to spend time with her close-knit family and friends. One of her biggest passions is basketball, and she spends a lot of her time coaching her boys basketball teams. Kathryn also enjoys working out, running mud races, and loves to read when she finds a quiet moment.

Julie is the dental hygienist here at Summer Creek Dental. She has been in dentistry for over 20 years. She is passionate about educating her patients on the importance of dental hygiene and is always eager to answer any questions you may have.

Julie lives nearby in Kingwood with her beautiful daughter and son. She enjoys spending time watching her daughter dance for the Kingwood Fillies and watching her son play every sport possible. She is a big Oklahoma Sooner fan, loves being outdoors, and listening to music. Julie also has an extensive knowledge of useless pop culture trivia.

Lacey is one of our fabulous dental hygienists here at Summer Creek Dental. She was born and raised in the Humble area. She enjoys living and working in the same community she grew up in. She graduated from the Lonestar dental hygiene program in 2014.

She loves spending time with her husband, her beautiful little girl and their two dogs. She also enjoys working out, watching the Houston Rockets, volunteering with her church and going on Mission trips. Lacey is a big people person and it is obvious to anyone that meets her that she is passionate about what she does. She is such a great addition to our team!

Karla has been working as a dental assistant for over 9 years. She is extremely kind, patient and informative to all our patients. She has a knack at comforting patients when they are nervous, and is our resident x-ray guru.

Julia was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama and is a recent Texas transplant. Julia loves spending her free time with her husband, and two sons. She enjoys working out, traveling, camping, and other outdoor activities. Julia is such a joy to be around and her positive energy can always light up a room. Her drive to learn and provide the best care possible are greatly appreciated by our patients and dental team.

Nancy has been working as a registered dental assistant for 5 years now. She loves helping people understand the importance of dental care and is a loving gentle hand to hold when patients get nervous. She is extremely patient and kind to everyone around her.

She lives in the Houston area with her loving husband and 2 beautiful young children. In her free time she loves the Houston Astros, Netflix movie binges and speeding time with her family and friends.

Agnes has been in the dental field for over 10 years as both a Registered Dental Assistant and a Patient Care Coordinator. Her extensive knowledge of both the front and back dental office is a huge asset to our team. Agnes is warm and welcoming and always greets our patients with a smile on her face. She is an integral part of the Summer Creek Dental family and we are thankful to have her!

Agnes graduated from Cypress Creek High School in 2000, and then went on to Dental Assistant School to earn her RDA license. Agnes lives nearby in Huffman with her husband Mike, and twin teenage girls. Agnes enjoys family gatherings, playing board games at home, and is a die-hard Cowboys fan.

Jannet started her dental assistant career in 2018. Her favorite part about her job is getting to meet our wonderful patients. She lives in Atascocita with her husband, three children, and puppy. She spends her free time traveling and watching her children play soccer.

Cindy has been in the dental field since 2012 working as a registered dental assistant and insurance specialist. She lives in New Caney with her husband, son and dog, Dexter. In her free time, she and her family enjoy watching sports, spending time with family and friends, and taking her son to the park.

Abby graduated from Kingwood Park in 2016 and completed Lonestar's Dental Assisting program in March of 2019. She lives with her boyfriend and two dogs. Abby enjoys roller skating, watercolor painting and traveling. She has lived in the kingwood area most of her life, but has lived in NYC, Hawaii, and Florida in the past.

Laurie is one of our wonderful hygienists here at Summer Creek Dental. She has been in dentistry since 2014 when she graduated from Lonestar Kingwood. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know her patients and educating them about their dental needs.

Laurie enjoys spending time with her 9 grandchildren, gardening, playing with her 10-year-old schnauzer, and golfing with friends. She has also performed at Austin rodeo as the lead singer of a band with her husband. Laurie never meets a stranger and always puts a smile on our patients faces. We love having her on the Summer Creek Dental team!

Aundria is our sweet front desk coordinator that will greet you on your way in to the office. She always has a smile on her face and is sure to say hello to everyone that walks through the door. She has been in the dental field since 2017 and enjoys meeting our new patients.

Since moving to Houston in 2020, she is so excited to explore and get to know the area better. She has the cutest husky named Daisey and enjoys taking her to a local dog park. She practices photography and tries to visit the beach any chance she gets. We love having Aundria on our team!
