I took my son for the 1st time today and it was a great experience. Everyone was super nice and helpful especially the ones working at the front desk.

DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST! My 17yr old daughter had a root canal and crown that has given her problems from day one of the procedure. She has since been seen by 2 reputable dentists that have questioned the quality of the work performed, one of the two actually telling me, "DO NOT TAKE HER BACK THAT DENTIST!" Because her insurance will not cover a retreat we are going to be out of pocket $2000 along with the pain and agony she's suffered from this.

I have been terrified of the dentist for year but felt so comfortable after going here today. Staff was super friendly and office was clean.

I not the kind that gets on a site to complain bout anyone.. but couldn't just let this one go ... I've used this place for serval yrs & loved the experience & these ppl got a lot of money from my services ...i called to get appointment for my son for an emergency they set appointment..long story short he got to his appointment 5 minutes yes 5 minutes & they refused the see him ...very rude bout it ...needless to say they don't have my business anymore & I'm sure they really don't care...I asked what if he would have been an emergency walk in & she only could say he made an appointment ... needs to fill out paper work which I could have done...no sense what so ever ...they're not greedy but for sure NOT compassionate

Not many people can say that a visit to the dentist was an enjoyable experience. From the initial appointment call to Lori meeting me at the door, Tony walking me back and helping ease my anxiety with his happy demeanor to the actual dentists chair, I received grand treatment. The staff at Sumiton Family Dentistry rolls out the red carpet for each and every patient. I am in the process of changing insurance while attempting dental work and the team has gone above and beyond to assist me and help the process move forward flawlessly. I simply do not have the words to express my gratitude to the whole gang at Sumiton Family Dentistry.

The staff was very very friendly and helpful. And Dr.Colby Thomson went out of his way to make sure I was completely comfortable and felt safe before doing any procedure on me. Dr. Thomson made sure that I was totally out of any pain before he continued with my procedures. I was very satisfied and I will be returning for any other procedures I may need done by a Dentist. UHM? I have no Idea who Accessed my account but, I didn't write this review and to the person that did. You best ask someone... Y'all know I ain't playing... Christopher J. Cook. Hell!

Was charged for my kids free cleanings after they took xrays my insurance didn't approve of. Xrays only once a year. They knew this but did it anyway and said they'd put a note in their chart and it wont happen again. They did it again. Just trying to get more money. Won't be back.

Don't get dentures here...I have 2 family members that used them and both of them have had nothing but problems. They DON'T FIT PROPERLY and when you tell them they want listen...It's like they make them and take your money but want fix them to fit right. One of them got a large blister on the roof of his mouth from the plate rubbing and another thing is the fact that the dentist will see you to make the dentures but after that you never see him again even when there are problems. NOT A GOOD DENTIST AT ALL!!!!

The Best every and their dental hygienist was very nice and did a great job cleaning my teeth and my x-rays thank you Samantha Dr. Thompson very informative and easy to talk to The girls in the front desk are really nice and they were very helpful .

Double check with another dentist before getting recommended treatments. I was told by Sumiton Family Dentistry that my son had six cavities that needed to be filled. (He is 19 and has never had a cavity in his life.) I took him for a second opinion that I paid out of pocket for, and he had no cavities. Our new dentist reconfirmed that he is cavity-free at his most recent cleaning appointment.

Alabama Family Dentists are wonderful. I've always hated to go to the dentist but they take all the stress and anxiety away. Dr. Thomson and all the staff members are friendly and very caring. I would recommend them to everyone.
