Dr. Laura graduated from University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Then, attended University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN for dental school and graduated with high honors. She began her career as a dentist at Sullivan Dentistry in Union City, TN. In 2019 she partnered with Dr. Gabe Sullivan opening Sullivan Dental Partners in Murray, KY.
From the time she was a small child, she always enjoyed school and learning new things. Dr. Laura always knew she wanted to help people with her knowledge. Healthcare was a big interest. In college, she began working part-time with a pediatric dentist and she soon became a role model and mentor. She inspired me to pursue dentistry as a career. I admired the fact that she was able to give back to her community. During a mission trip to Honduras, Dr. Laura fell in love with dentistry. One of her goals is providing compassionate care in order to relieve patients anxieties about visiting the dentist. Dr. Laura want to play a positive role in changing peoples perspectives and preconceived ideas about going to the dentist. She also enjoys being able to help people relieve their pain and being able to add quality back into their lives. She enjoys working with patients in creating a beautiful smile that will help them get their confidence back. Since spending several years working with a pediatric dentist, Dr. Laura especially loves working with kids of all ages. She believes taking children to the dentist at a young age and continuing with regular visits will help children grow up to be adults who are not fearful of seeking dental care.
She has been married to her best friend, Darren, for 10 years residing in Union City, TN. They have a dog, Charlie, and a cat, Luna, that they love spending time with. In their spare time, we enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
Dr. Ashton graduated with a Bachelor of Biology from Mississippi State University. She attended dental school at A.T. Still University in St. Louis. In 2019 she joined the Sullivan Dental Partners team along with working in Union City at Sullivan Dentistry.
Her school was big on public health (she has a certificate of public health) so that is how her career started, in community health centers and health departments. So helping those less fortune like going on mission trips and local community events she really enjoys. Dr. Ashton also really enjoys working with geriatric patients, getting to lern from older generations about life while helping them take control of their dental health.
She spends most of her time with her family and her boyfriend. They enjoy watching Murray State basketball and Mississippi State football. She also loves watching bad reality tv and traveling as much as she can!
