DR. LEE SULAEMANAs a child growing up in Indonesia, Dr. Lee Sulaeman always knew what he wanted to become: a dentist. He also knew that he did not want to become an ordinary dentist; he wanted to change the face of dentistry.

Dr. Sulaeman graduated from the Trisakti School of Dentistry in 1985 with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Sulaeman then opened a private practice from 1985-1987 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Although Dr. Sulaeman was very happy practicing in Jakarta, staying true to his dream, he wanted more. He knew that if he was going to change the way people thought about dentistry, he needed to come to the United States. In 1989, Dr. Lee attended the University Of California San Francisco School Of Dentistry and earned his California Dentist License. It was from 1989-1991 that Dr. Lee worked at a group dental practice in Claremont, California. Dr. Sulaeman, still never losing focus of his goal, became a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the TriCounty Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, all of which he is still a member of today.

In 1991, Dr. Sulaeman began to fulfill his dream of revolutionizing dentistry. He opened a full time private practice in San Bernardino. Dr. Lee purchased the practice from Dr. Charles Strebig, who was in the process of retiring. Dr. Strebig originally opened the practice, at this location, in 1955. Although the practice Dr. Sulaeman operates today is in the same location, the building of today is very different than when he purchased it from Dr. Strebig. The original building had four operatories and was just over 700 square feet. In 1999, Dr. Sulaeman moved into the new building (which was constructed alongside the original building). The building Dr. Sulaeman occupies today has 10 operatories and is over 7000 square feet! Dr. Sulaeman created a relaxing, family friendly atmosphere where his patients and their families can be treated for virtually all of their dental needs. Dr. Sulaeman was, and is, living his dream. Dr. Sulaemans patients receive outstanding dental care in an environment that promotes peace, tranquility and safety, as well as state of the art dentistry. Dr. Lee is changing the way people see dentistry.

In 2000, still continuing his education for himself and his patients, Dr. Sulaeman attended the Academy of General Dentistry, Chicago, Illinois, earning his Fellow Academy of General Dentistry and in 2002, he earned his Master Academy of General Dentistry (M.A.G.D.) from the same institution.

From 2003 until the present, Dr. Lee has offered his professionalism to the Advisory Committee for ROP for the areas of Colton, Redlands and Yucaipa, is the former Vice President of the Lions Club in San Bernardino (1994), is active on the Dental Advisory Board of the Concorde Career Institute of San Bernardino (2001-present) and the Dental Advisory Board of Everest College (2011-present),is a Member of the Peer Review Committee of the California Dental Association (2008-present), is an advisory board member for the U.S. Army dental division, and is also a member of the American Dental Association Review Committee for New Product in Dentistry (2007-present).

Although many of us have dreams and aspirations, not all of us have the will, determination or drive to achieve our dreams. Dr. Lee is the exception and his patients are a testimony to the passion he has for his profession.

Dr. Audrey was born and raised in Bandung, Indonesia. Growing up in a dental family, Dr. Audrey knew that she someday would follow in her mothers footsteps and also become a dentist. In 1985, Dr. Audrey graduated from Trisakti University Dental School in Jakarta, Indonesia with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). Dr. Audrey then began her dental career at her mothers private practice office in Bandung.

While in her second year of dental school, Dr. Audrey met her future husband, Dr. Lee Sulaeman. The two were married seven years later. In 1987, Dr. Audrey came to the United States. It was at this time that Dr. Audrey completed her Dental Board Exam and began working as a dentist at a dental group in Bellflower. After one year, she began work for another dental group in West Covina before joining her husband full time at the private practice office in San Bernardino they opened together in 1991. Today, Dr. Audrey actively consults on patient care all while helping Dr. Lee manage the office.

Dr. Audrey and Dr. Lee live in San Bernardino and they have three grown children. Dr. Audrey and Dr. Lee also have two dogs, a Labrador named Monkey and a silly, white English Bulldog named Knock-Out.

I graduated from dental school in Indonesia in 1988. Soon after I married my wife in 1989. We have two beautiful daughters together. My favorite holiday is Christmas because of all the wonderful food that brings people together.

As a child, I dreamed of helping people. Keeping that dream alive, in 1990 I became a Dental Assistant. In 1997, I began working for Dr. Lee and Dr. Audrey Sulaeman. Five years into my employment, I became Office Manager. The position of Office Manager is very satisfying for me since I am committed to helping people. In addition to my duties as Office Manager and R.D.A., I enjoy gardening and decorating the office. Taking care of my place of employment, goes hand-in-hand with my passion for taking care of others.

My name is Claudia and I am a Registered Dental Assistant. I began my career in the dental field five years ago. Prior to working with Dr. Sulaeman, I had no dental experience. I proudly earned my R.D.A. in 2010. I consider myself very fortunate for the opportunity that Dr. Sulaeman provided me and can honestly say that I like my job.
