During his training as a general dentist, he fell in love with prosthodontics and the truly transformative potential of the field. In pursuit of his career, he headed to the U.S. to work in a non-profit health center as a dentist, where he soon became an associate dental director.
Afterwards, he attended the prestigious Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, NY. He completed his 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program there before attending a 3-year Prosthodontic Specialty program at the State University of New York at Buffalo, fulfilling his dream.
Now, with over two decades of experience, Dr. Kota has opened up his own office specializing in implant dentistry and prosthodontic care. When hes not proudly serving the community of Sugar Land, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing chess with his kids.

Dr Kota and his staff are simply amazing. I suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks. It took a lot of courage for me to call and make that appointment. Even more to actually show up. From the moment I walked in I was welcomed and immediately felt at ease. Everyone was so kind to me. Dr Kota took such good care of me. He knew I was nervous. He explained everything in detail. He was kind, compassionate and filled with empathy. If your anything like me I highly recommend you give Dr Kota and his staff a try. You won't be disappointed

I highly recommend Sugarland Smile Center. The doctor is so professional. I had two implants. I really am super grateful that they made my plans with them. The attention is great.All the time they were calling how I feel after the implants they really are very professional my implants are perfect my smile is perfect I was in the best place for implants. Great staff! From the moment I got there the receptionist was very nice and welcoming with a smile. The dentist was extremely professional and straight forward. The entire staff is extremely polite and courteous. They get straight to business. They're very prompt with getting the customer in and out. A family type atmosphere that I would recommend anyone to experience. I'm very confident that my goals and expectations will be met and I'll will achieve the SMILE I'm seeking. I can't remember all the names but Evelyn & Eunice were GREAT !!! DEFINITELY A FIVE STAR SERVICE!!!!!

This is the best friendly atmosphere dental office I have ever been too! The employees make you feel like you are part of their dental family. They actually remember your name and face when walk in. Everyone has a smiling face there. I just LOVE Dr. Kota and his team

From day 1 Dr. Kota and his staff have been AWESOME!! Dr. Kota has given me a Gorgeous smile i have all on 6 uppers. It has been 4 months now with my temporary set. I'm waiting on my permanent set. He said I'm healing fast and everything looks good!! He has been with me step by step.. I recommend Dr. Kota for your implants hands down his THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! September 1st 2022 UPDATE! I have my permanent teeth and they are BEAUTIFUL! The best investment i have ever made! And i want to give a Big Shout out to Dr. Kota and his staff for making this an Awesome journey for me, every step of the way. Thanks for my beautiful smile!

Dr Kahlon from Modern Dental in El Campo recommended that I consult with Dr Kota on fixed implant dentures. From the moment I called to confirm my appointment until I walked out the door with my contract in hand, I felt welcome, important, and their desire to help me regain my smile and eating ability. Dr Kota, Evelyn, Eunice, and Tiffany were wonderful. All my questions were answered and fully explained. Samples of product options were available. They asked what I wanted and understood my needs. They offered help every step of the way. The faculty was comfortable, clean, and esthetically pleasing. Dr Kota has his own lab. He shares the CT scans with you showing exactly what his plan is, and makes an informed proposal. If you are EVER in need of any oral prosthetic, this is the first place you should go. Th Dentist Dr. Kota is very talented , skillful and knowledgeable . I had no pain while extraction and implant. The staff is very friendly and the clinic too very clean and with the latest equipments for examination etc. They were prompt in their service and I did not have to wait as I had appointment. The post care for prescription and follow up was taken care promptly . They were very precise in giving the actual cost of treatment.

I've always scared of seeing the dentist, but this place has changed my thoughts. The staffs are so friendly and nice. They talked me through everything and make sure that i don't feel uncomfortable. Seeing dentist might comes with painful parts, but when you know there are always someone encourage you through the whole time, the pain just happen in short period. I definitely recommend this place.

Great environment with people friendly staff. The doctor and all the staff was excellent they did my X-rays, CT to check for bone shrinkage, discussed treatment plan, and financial assistance. Went over my insurance plan and just made me feel like they cared and want to help me I will be returning.

The office is quick to get me in for adjustments. New dentures can cause pain and discomfort. I appreciate being able to get in when needed. Have a way to go before I'm completely healed, but I know Dr. Kota is doing everything possible to make me comfortable and ease my pain and worry.
