Dr. Leena Moonnumakal (Dr. Moon) grew up in Orange County, California. She attended the UNLV School of Dental Medicine where she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She graduated Cum Laude with her dental degree in 2006. Dr. Moon realized early in her dental training that she had a love for working with children. She accepted a position in a two-year specialty residency in pediatric dentistry at UT Houston Health Science Center where she gained extensive training in pediatric dental care, including behavior management and sedation modalities, trauma management, and the treatment of children and young adults with special health care needs. Dr. Moon earned her Masters degree while completing her residency program, and has since become certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Moon currently resides in Sugar Land with her husband Bobby and their two children. After years of practicing in the greater Houston area, she is thrilled to finally be serving her local community! She looks forward to getting to know you and your child!
