The staff is fantastic, they explain everything to the parents and to the child being worked on. The take their time and make you feel heard. I recommend this office to anyone and everyone who wants a good experience and who might be afraid of the dentist.

The staff was considerate, friendly, and most of all timely! And the doctor was amazing! She was intelligent, focused, genuinely caring about my granddaughter's well-being, and above all she performed the work in excellence and quickly.

Where do I begin...? My guys have been coming here for (at least) the last 8 years and when I say to people, my kids are weird because they actually like going to the dentist, its because of these guys here. At least to me, its a family thing, and my family feels our dentist office is invested in us.

Treatment with braces isnt just about straight teeth and a gorgeous smile. Its about maximizing the alignment of your teeth and jaw to improve your ability to bite, chew and speak. That perfect smile is a bonus a benefit that leads to improved self-esteem and self confidence.

Getting started with braces. To start orthodontic treatment, your orthodontist will first take x-rays and evaluate if youre a good candidate. Ideal candidates have healthy teeth and gums, but want to fix overbites, underbites, cross bites, spacing issues, overcrowding, a gummy smile or protruding upper front teeth.

How your teeth move. Braces work by applying pressure to teeth, pushing or pulling them into a better position. Your teeth actually move in their sockets. The process is called bone remodeling. The bone on one side of your teeth breaks down in the sockets, but builds up on the other side of the sockets. All of this is done using a gentle amount of pressure. You will visit your orthodontist regularly to make sure your teeth are moving properly.

Getting braces off. When your teeth have reached the desired results, your orthodontist will remove your braces, one bracket at a time. He or she will also remove any glue residue. Your orthodontist will then set you up with a retainer to help stabilize the new position of your teeth. Without a retainer, your teeth may move back to their original positions.

Exploring options. Traditional metal brackets arent for everybody. Other options include ceramic braces, lingual braces and Invisalign or clear aligners. Your certified orthodontist specialist will recommend the treatment thats best for you.

Dr. Park has been our pediatric dentist for 8 years now and has always been very compassionate and patient with my child. She takes the time to explain all of the suggested treatments and is sympathetic to my concerns. I feel confident in her abilities and trust her professional opinion.

Dr. Park has been our children's dentist for 7 years and has been fantastic to work with. She is patient with our kids, varying in age from 11 to 4. They actually look forward to going to the dentist (crazy right?) because they are treated so well. We've been to other pediatric dentists before moving to the area and have never found a more compassionate doctor solely focused on the needs of our children. She not only has the ability to connect with the children, but she also takes time to speak directly with us, carefully answering each one of our questions, letting us know what's important and what is not a big deal. We wish more doctors in this area were like Dr. Park.

We love Dr Park, she's been my daughters first and only Dentist for almost 6 years now. We've only had great experiences with her. My daughter feels comfortable and relaxed with her. Dr Park is professional, caring, and detail oriented. I will start bringing in my 2nd daughter soon. Also all the hygienists who've cleaned my daughter's teeth are super friendly and gentle, they know how to get kids comfortable before starting the cleaning.

DENTISTRY FOR CHILDREN in JOHNS CREEK: DR. SUE LEE PARK Dr. Sue Lee Park was very mean, cold, sarcastic, basically unprofessional not only in the manner she responded to my daughter being in excruciating pain while having her teeth cleaned but also in how she spoke to us about our children's dental cleaning. I was left feeling humiliated and shocked, very sad for my daughter who cried the whole time she was being worked on, even when she told the hygienist to stop, she did not stop. when I confronted the hygienist myself she looked mad before I could get a word in, and looked.like she was in a hurry to get to the other patient. Very dissatisfied with my children's visit. The hygienist that worked on all 3 of my girls (one daughter who has downs syndrome) was very cold, and mean. My 15 year old was in tears from pain, from her teeth getting cleaned. When I asked the hygienist and the doctor they said in a very cold way that it was my daughter's fault for having so much plaque. The doctor was very defensive and kept saying how great her hygienist is. She ignored what I was saying, and my daughter was still crying, the doctor coldly stared at me and said, oh well she had too much plaque. I then said they could have numbed her, she said again very defensively that she would need to go elsewhere for.that type of cleaning. When I said I understand but they should have taken breaks or asked her if she was ok. When we went into the consultation room with the Dr. she explained to us about each child's examination and cleaning and then proceeded in a very mean sarcastic way saying our girls need to see the orthodontist but they are too sensitive to go maybe because they have to toughen up because orthodontist visits hurt. It left a really bad taste in my mouth when she made us feel so bad about the whole visit. I will definitely let others know how unprofessional our visit was. I told the doctor that the primary reason for me choosing her practice was because she specializes in special needs, then she replied, that's all pediatric dentist. Extremely unprofessional, very bad visit.
