Dr. Martin Youngs graduated from Texas Tech University with cum laude honors and a BS in biology in 2003. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UT Health Houston School of Dentistry in 2009 and completed a residency in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in 2010 at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Youngs began his career in private practice in Houston in August 2010.
Dr. Youngs is a member of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the Academy of General Dentistry. He received an associate fellowship from the Academy of GP Orthodontics in 2014 and earned a fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry in July of 2016. Dr. Youngs is the past president of the North Houston Dental Study Group (2014 to 2015). He is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.

Karen joined the practice in 2017 and has been in the dental field for over 20 years. She enjoys meeting our patients for the first time and building relationships with them. Karen takes pride in our offices dedication to great service and quality dentistry.
Jasmine earned her RDA license in 2016 and has been a member of our team ever since. She enjoys comforting our patients, and helping them understand their oral hygiene needs and achieve their dream smiles.
Angela joined our office in 2018 and is a 2005 Wharton graduate. She appreciates the positive atmosphere at our office and keeps an open mind when treating patients so as to be able to implement the best dental practices. Her hobbies include gardening and caring for farm animals, dogs and cats.
Sandra has more than 24 years of experience in dentistry and has been a part of Subtle Smiles since 2019. She enjoys the family atmosphere at our office and working with our patients to help them achieve good oral health. She tries to contribute in any way she can and is always happy to step in where she is needed. Sandra has one grown daughter, Kaitlin and enjoys, cooking on the weekends and traveling with her daughter.

My visit went by very smoothly, there was a cancelation and the office was kind enough to reach out and inquire if I'd like to move my appointment ahead which worked out perfectly for me. The visit itself consisted of x-rays which were taken quickly, and a deep cleaning that produced amazing results. Have literally been beaming in the mirror every morning.

I've been going to Dr Young for several years since he took over the practice from Dr. Maples. I highly recommend he and his staff! They are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Young is a great Dentist, and his staff is great also!

My experience was amazing! Karen the Office Manager, Jasmin the Dental Assistant, Angela the Dental Hygienist were all very thorough, professional, and friendly. As a nervous patient;? by the time I met the Dentist, I was calm and attentive. Dr. Youngs went over the x-rays, my options, and we discussed a plan for a positive outcome. I am looking forward to completing my procedure with the Subtle Smiles team.

Dental implants are in and I want to thank Dr Young and Sandra. They continually checked that I was pain free and comfortable through all the appointments. Karen worked with me as far as payments which was helpful. I am beyond happy. Everyone in that office is warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Never afraid to go to the dentist, as long as it's Dr Young and his staff.

If you haven't found a good dentist stop wasting your time. Dr. Young is an incredible dentist!!! He is a man of integrity and honesty. I will continue to drive 50 minutes each way to go to this dentist. The environment is warm and friendly just like his staff.

I've been with Dr. Youngs since he took over the practice from the previous dentist, Dr. Maples. I really appreciate the fact that when I schedule an appointment, I don't spend an additional 45 minutes to an hour biding my time in the waiting room. I have yet to finish a magazine article when I arrive. I typically have the first appointment of the day, so I can only speak to that. Today I had an appointment at noon, and since my earlier appointment ended sooner than expected, I arrived at the office early, expecting a wait. There wasn't one. Dr. Youngs also explains all procedures and patiently answers questions. The staff is pleasant and professional--a great combination. 03/31/21: this is a follow up review, and my sentiment is the same. This is a great practice. Both the staff and Dr. Youngs are friendly, pleasant, professional, and willing to explain any questions you may have about your treatment or care. The fact that they are respectful of your time is a bonus. If you are looking for a new dental practice, give Subtle Smiles a try.

We have been going to Dr. Youngs before he moved to Missouri City and both he and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Youngs is very compassionate with his patients and he understands older people's concerns with preserving their teeth. We have referred friends and they are equally as pleased and confident in the dentistry work provided. Appointments are scheduled correctly with little to no waiting. Beautiful offices and comfortable surroundings. Angela is the best dental hygienist ever.
