Established over 27 years ago, the practice opened to provide the community with quality dental care. Since opening, Sturgis Smiles Family Dental has continued to provide the highest quality of dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. The practice started in a small Main Street Office in Sturgis, SD, and has since built a bigger building to complement the local architecture and to better serve our growing patient list.
Dr. Meg is grateful to have served 22 years in the Army National Guard. Beginning as an engineer with the 842nd, she was able to see all that Iraq offered when she served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2004. After dental school, she became a dentist with the medical detachment for the remainder of her time. Proud to be a veteran, she offers a military discount to all who serve.
Dr. Meg has written and published a childrens book on dentistry, Dakotahs Journey to the Dentist, to ensure children learn the importance of proper dental hygiene in a fun way. Families with children receive a copy at their initial visit.
Sturgis Smiles Family Dental is located on the corner of 3rd and Sherman streets in Sturgis, SD. We look forward to providing you with high-quality dental services, Botox Cosmetic, and a positive experience in our office.

Was hoping I could get a broken tooth taken care of after reading review saying they got right in and got it fixed, unfortunately didn't get the same result

I had an insurance time crunch at the end of the year and these folks went out of their way to get my teeth cleaned, pulled, and a partial denture made in less than two weeks during the holiday season. They also cleaned my son's teeth. We were both impressed with the awesome staff and beautiful facility

So great! I was having tooth pain and I just walked into this place (never been there before) and said please help and they were able to get me in took a good look and it was decided I needed a root canal and instead of waiting for a couple weeks to make that appointment they did it that day! I was so tired as I came off of an overnight shift. They provided me a warm pillow that smelt like lavender and a warm blanket. I watched TV as they numbed me up and I took a short nap. I Woke up and they were done! She was so busy that day but her and her team made me feel like I was the only one there! I have no tooth pain and the team did such great work! I would recommend this place to anyone. Did I mention they did a fabulous job making sure that my insurance was used to the fullest? they gave me a break down estimate of cost before we even got started, so that there was no surprise bill. so good, so fabulous, Highly recommended!

Wow, the staff here is incredible. They are all so warm, friendly, and caring and made what should have been a traumatic experience for my kiddo, a positive one. If you have kids who need dental card I can't recommend them highly enough!

LOVE this place. This is the first time in my life that I have found a dentist that I'm not afraid to go to. The women here actually care about you, your dental health, and your finances. When I started to get anxious during a procedure, they offered laughing gas at no charge and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable before proceeding. And when work needs to be done, they give you recommendations and cost estimates and then ask YOUR opinion about how you want to proceed. I also love that they check insurance balances and try to make it work for you in the best way. They are also fantastic with my children, making sure they have a positive dental experience. I could not be happier to have found Sturgis Smiles. I'm so thankful I found something better than what I had settled for in the past.
