Dr. Racanelli knew he wanted to become a dentist in high school when he realized how much his orthodontist was changing the lives of his patients. He was so passionate about joining the profession he applied right out of high school. He was accepted into an accelerated 7-year program with Villanova University and the University of Pennsylvania. Dentistry has been incredibly rewarding as it allows him to practice art, science, and provide a service that changes peoples lives.
He has received several accolades, including being named Top Dentist in Las Vegas for 6 consecutive years, with extensive training in the areas of cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Racanelli is a clinical faculty member of the nationally acclaimed dental continuing education program Clinical Mastery Series.
Dr. Racanelli is known for his warm and caring chair side manner and his gentle yet precise approach. His guiding philosophy for dentistry is to get to know his patients as people rst and to truly listen to their concerns in order to develop customized dental plans that t their lifestyle, budget and long-term goals. Dr. Racanellis practice is focused on client service, technology and top-notch dentistry and it is his high tech, high touch hands on approach to caring for his patients that distinguishes him as a provider.
Dr. Racanelli says: I am most excited about the ability we have in dentistry to change someone's life because when we transform someone's smile through cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, dental implants (or a combination of all 3 skills) we see the person transform along with their teeth. We see the patient become more happy, condent and radiate positive energy. Its a huge transformation internally because they are thrilled about their smile and no longer embarrassed or self-conscious. This is the best part of what we do and it makes me happy every single time. Dentistry really is the best of both worlds because I get to work with my hands and help our patients look and feel better at the same time.
When he isnt practicing dentistry, he can be found in the kitchen cooking for friends and family, doing yoga, or exercising, spending time enjoying the sun and of course spending time with his wife Jennifer and son Luca. Dr. Racanelli is a passionate traveler, always looking for the next adventure and would love to spend time in Italy, learning the language and eating amazing food.

Dr. Richard Racanelli is an amazing conscientious and caring professional! Last year he performed a heroic removal of my wisdom teeth mercury fillings to my absolute satisfaction! Because my wisdom teeth are way back there on the upper rear of my mouth, he had me come in a few times to completely adjust my bite. He did not hesitate to fit me in and make me absolutely comfortable and happy. He saved my teeth and health and for that I am so thankful! Rachel, my dental hygienist, is another dream! She is skilled, thoughtful and patient which makes my bi-annual cleanings a pleasure rather than a dread. Amazing dental experience!!! I'm a five star service provider and it was my first time experiencing five star service at a dental office.... From the moment you walk in the office you're treated as a person not just a patient... It felt like a people first than money atmosphere..... So far so EXCELLENT! Great team, kind, inviting and Dr Racanelli is awesome. My husband has been extremely impressed and assured me I wouldn't be disappointed, he was correct. life Is about good and bad choices! This was the right choice for me. Dr. Racanelli and his amazing team where so nice from the minute I walked through the door. They cleaned and took exrays of my teeth and then walked me through what needed to be done. After just a few visits they replaced three crowns and restored my smile Before I new it I was done no pain no problems.

Professionalism is the word that describes Stunning Smiles. From the doctor calling me directly to confirm my appointment to the terrific communication with Julia, front desk scheduler, everything was terrific.
