Stumph Thad DDS

1115 Main St, Boonville, MO 65233

I married the love of my life, Dawn, in 1996, and graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry in 1999. We moved to Boonville in 2001 and made Cooper County our home. We have two children, McKenna and Carter.

I had no idea what to expect of dentistry as a profession. Well, after 20 years I can honestly say, I love it! I love what I do for teeth, and I love what I do for patients. What does that mean? What I do for teeth is something I can take pride in. Similar to fine-woodworking, dentistry rewards attention to detail and the never-ending quest for perfection. I enjoy taking something that is weak, strengthening it, and making it more beautiful. What I like about dentistry most of all involves patients, not their teeth.

I realize that there is a person connected to the tooth Im working on, and I try my hardest to make that person as comfortable as possible. What Ive found is that this approach works. I have many patients who now are virtually fearless when it comes to dentistry, whereas before they were nervous wrecks at the dentist. Every time I see one of these patients it makes me feel great about what I do.

I also love the challenge of staying abreast of the best techniques and products available. Notice I didnt use the word newest. Newest isnt always the best. I try very hard to sift through marketing hype when it comes to products and procedures. It is no surprise that companies that produce the products all have research data that proves their productis best. I search for unbiased information with regard to dental products and procedures, and when a truly better product emerges, Im quick to incorporate it. Dentistry has changed a lot over the last few decades, and will continue to do so. I look forward to following dentistry wherever it goes, and will continue to adapt my technique and materials to be the best they can be.

I am originally from Lansing, Iowa. My husband, Rich, and I moved to Mid-Missouri in 1990. We have three daughters; Sydnee, Coree, and Haylee. I currently live in Bunceton with Rich and our dog, Max. I have been working with Dr Stumph since 2005.

Raised in Bunceton, I graduated high school there, then attended Kansas City College of Dental Careers and received my certificate as a certified dental assistant with expanded functions. I have three children; Austin, Alyssa, and Addison and two bonus sons; Aaron and Evan. I started my career in our office in 1983 working while in high school for Dr. Hombs. After Dr. Stumph came to the office I became a full time dental assistant and have been here 18 years with him. I enjoy spending my weekends at the Lake of the Ozarks with my family, friends and two grandchildren; Reese and Lachlan.

I met my husband, Danny, at the University of Missouri, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993. In 2002 we moved to Boonville which we have grown to love and now call home with our three children; Bryce, Hannah, and Abby. I have been working with Dr Stumph since 2012 and have over 15 years of dental assisting experience. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and cheering for the Mizzou Tigers and Boonville Pirates.

A native to Cooper County, I was raised in Otterville, MO and now reside in Pilot Grove with my husband, Billy, and our two sons Jackson & Joseph. I graduated high school in Otterville and then attended State Fair Community College. I graduated from State Fair Community College Dental Hygiene program in 2007. After graduation I started with Stumph Dentistry part-time then became our full time hygienist later that fall. My family resides on a small farm outside Pilot Grove and raise beef cattle as a hobby. In our spare time we enjoy traveling, especially to the beach.
