Dr. Stummer received his undergraduate degree from Creighton University. He graduated from Marquette University Dental School in 1985 and has been practicing dentistry in Kenosha ever since. Dr. Stummer honed his skills under Dr. Dawson at the Center of Advanced Dental Studies in Florida and completed his advanced studies in 1997. Dr. Stummer is a member of the Edge Study Group in Kenosha where stays up-to-date on most current trends in dentistry.
Dr. Stummer is married and has 3 beautiful daughters. He enjoys biking, pond hockey, bow and arrow, fishing and camping. He believes that to enjoy life to the fullest, you need to be healthy and strong. This includes your dental health. He knows that healthy teeth begin with good oral hygiene at home, but sometimes that alone is not enough. His goal is to help his patients maintain their teeth and oral health for a lifetime. He also loves making a persons smile a source of improved self-esteem and confidence!
Laura is a Kenosha native and has also been with Stummer Dental since 2012. She graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a B.S. in Biology and worked at Abbott Laboratories for 18 years. Laura loves to meet all of the interesting patients who come to Stummer Dental. She assists them with their dental needs, including helping patients navigate through insurance details. She encourages patients to have their teeth treated as soon as decay occurs because waiting risks losing teeth that should be kept forever! Laura is married, has three girls and likes to spend her free time reading, gardening, traveling and digging intogenealogy.
Chris is a registered Dental Hygienist and has been in the dental field for 25 years, working as a Dental Assistant for both dentists and oral surgeons. She started working for Dr. Stummer in 1994 as a Dental Hygienist and brings all of that experience to her patients each day. Chris is a graduate of Gateway Technical College and Milwaukee Area Technical College. Chris is known for her gentle techniques and is willing to think outside the box to give her patients a great dental experience.Chris is interested in how medical conditions and medications affect the mouth and looks for signs of diseases that often appear in the mouth first. She is also very interested in Sleep Medicine and reviews her patients health history as part of determiningtheir sleep health.Chris is a lifelong resident of Kenosha and is married with two children and loves tennis, golf and jogging.
Silvia has lived in Kenosha all of her life. She has been working in the dental field as an assistant for both oral surgeons and dentist since 2001. She joined Dr. Stummers staff in 2019 and is a cheerful and energetic team member. Silvia loves working with patients and she believes in treating them as if they were a member of her own family. Silvia is married with 3 great kids. Silvia enjoys cooking, baking, exercising, and spending time outside. She does all of these with her family whenever possible.
