Dr. Dipti Modi, a South Amboy family dentist received her DDS from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York.Since then, Dr. Modi has been dedicated to keeping up with the latest dental technology. Her continuing education focuses on dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. Dr. K grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors degree in Biology and a minor in Art History. Her passion for dentistry was sparked when she discovered that dentistry was the perfect combination of her two interests: science and art. She then attended University of Pennsylvanias School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.Dr. K is a firm believer in compassionate dental care and thorough patient education. She knows the importance of building a foundation of oral health at a young age, and loves working with children and young adults to show them the power of a confident, healthy smile.
She has received extensive instruction and exposure to dental technology and innovation, especially implants, the most conservative and predictable approach to replacing teeth, and digital dentistry, including digital Xrays and soft tissue lasers. Dr. K focuses on using the latest developments in dentistry to supplement fundamental dental techniques and to enhance patient comfort and health. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, crafting, and going hiking or to the beach. She is at her happiest surrounded by family, friends, and of course, her two cats, Kiki and Nala!
Everyone here is so nice and really make you feel comfortable. Today I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. K for the first time and she too is wonderful. I, like majority of the population, am not a fan of having dental work but she was wonderful. I didnt even feel the injection!!

One of the best experiences so far at a dentist. I visited for a regular dental cleaning. The staff is very sweet and courteous. I was seen on time with hardly any wait times. Dr Dipti explained all the steps and procedures and also gave me time to answer all my questions and concerns and in detail. I would highlight recommend Studio Smiles.

To update, the doctor found my review right the way and told me that she is not going to treat me on the spot at my appointment. Well, you could have just call. Since I don't think some of their ways and it is probably just fair that they should not provide me with the dental care Two weeks letter, she also wrote me a letter formally withdraw me as a patient. At the time I already got a new dentist she also explain to me on the letter the consequences of not obtaining a dental care. ================= Be aware of how they charge you in this place. We have a basic BSBC dental insurance that only covers basic cleaning. When there is cavity tooth needed to be filled in, they initially told me 140 for the price. Then they charged me 172 after it's done. They said they honored the BSBC insurance plan, which they gave me a "Huge discount" to only charge me for 172. Which my insurance does not cover at all. They said if I don't have insurance it will be 400+ for filling the teeth. My insurance doesn't cover so you should have a set price for tooth filling for everyone. Not according to how you charge the insurance company you be the judge, is this reasonable?! Or I can pay the dentist place just like how insurance company refused to pay the original price?!

When I say this place makes you feel like family... I mean FAMILY! I have been going here for over 3 years and their service is 2nd to none. Both doctors are Ivy trained, but are incredibly humble and just as knowledgeable! I go to Dr. K primarily, however, Dr. D performed some procedures on me such as tooth extraction, and when I say they are gentle... I mean gentle! I was severely afraid of dentists for some time, however, after speaking to their receptionist Nina (who is literally an encyclopedia as well!), she reassured me I would be in good hands, and man, was that an understatement! I was in GREAT hands. I can't recommend this place enough. DON'T WAIT ANOTHER DAY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AS I INITIALLY DID!

I love, love this dentist office. Very nice and courteous staff. Dr Modi is very sweet and professional. Dr Modi makes you feel comfortable and like you are sitting in your own couch at home. Highly recommend.

I came on a whim because I needed to clean my teeth. I expected to get my teeth cleaned and that was it. I got way more than that. I ended up getting a full checkup and even got some fillings done same day. As other reviews mentioned, the staff all the way to the doctors were extremely nice and friendly. I would highly recommend coming and seeing it for yourself!

Excellent dental practice in a cute little house. That cute little house is just as warm and welcoming as the two dentists that work there: Koral and Dipti Modi. I went to this practice for some serious work: a cap replacement and several filings. And the work was done amazingly well; even I forget which of my tooth is real and fake. Having had many issues with my teeth over the years and visited many dentists in the area, I can safely say that this is the best dentist practice in central NJ. Do yourself a favor and go to this practice.

I love my dentists! Studio smiles staff and doctors make you feel comfortable the minute you walk in. With COVID, I was so nervous going in but rigorous precautions such as waiting in your car for your appointment, taking your temperature when you walk in and all staff wearing PPE made me feel safe and cared for. Dr. Modi handled my root canal with ease and a commonly painful procedure, was made pain free! The entire procedure was explained to me beforehand with visuals so I knew exactly what to expect. Dr.K and Dr. Modi make you feel like family and always make me feel like they truly care about me! I would highly recommend them to anyway looking for excellent care!

I love the care I get at Studio Smiles. I went there after a long time due to the pandemic lockdown, so I knew I needed a lot of work. Dr. Koral Modi was extremely patient with me and explained all the work that needed to be done and even a few spots she mentioned we should wait and watch. Highly recommend this practice.

I come here for all my dental needs. Staff is great. Way better than former dentists I've attended especially when it comes to scheduling. There is flexible scheduling for future appointments, and I get reminders frequently. Also, for the most part there is no waiting in the waiting room. I am usually in the chair by the time I scheduled.
