After graduating from Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana, with a degree in biology/chemistry, Dr. Studebaker attended the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in Columbus. He was awarded a Navy scholarship, and at graduationhe received the Ohio Dental Association Outstanding Research Award for his graduate research accomplishments.
Following graduation, Dr. Studebaker served as a dental officer in the US Navy. He received postgraduate training in general and hospital dentistry while on active duty and served as a general dentist for six of his 11 years in the service. He served tours of duty at shore dental facilities, aboard naval ships, andoverseas, and was awardedmultiple decorations for his accomplishments.
Dr. Studebaker received his orthodontic specialty training at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio. He was subsequently assigned as the specialty advisor and department head for orthodontics at Naval Hospital, Yokosuka, Japan.
Dr. Studebaker has completed many hours of continuing education in both general dentistry and orthodontics. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Trained in the most modern techniques and developments in orthodontics, Dr. Studebaker is ready to provide his patients with the best care available in a friendly and fun setting. He is also fluent in Spanish.

As our practice manager, I spend my day-to-day ensuring that everything runs as smoothly as possible so our patients can have the greatest experience when they come to visit us for their beautiful smiles. I was born and raised in North Carolinaand have been with Studebaker Orthodontics since January 2013. I have an associates degree in liberal arts and completed the dental assisting program, along with the orthodontic specialty program, at UNC-Chapel Hill in 1993. I am currently an RDA in Texas. I have 13 years of orthodontic experience as dental assistant, clinical, and treatment coordinator.
I am happily married and have three beautiful daughters that keep us busy. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and watching sports, especially UNC Tarheels, Ole Miss, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. I am excited to be part of such a great office and team, and consider everyone here my second family.
I am a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with a few years of experience in Dentistry. I find that Orthodontics is the most incredible field, being able to interact and be a part of each patients journey towards a wonderful smile is the most rewarding feeling! In the future, I plan on continuing education in the Orthodontic field.
I am an orthodontic assistant for the Studebaker Orthodontics team. I recently obtained my Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license and had the privilege to start my orthodontic assistant career with Dr. Studebaker. I really cant wait to learn and experience all that this field has to offer. Everytime my son goes for his check ups the outcome is wonderful! The ladies are very explanatory down to the last details. Amazing staff they make you feel very welcomed! The receptionists at the front are friendly, attentive and always answer with gratitude and kindness!!!!

Dr. Studebaker and his staff are PHENOMENAL. I can HONESTLY say that every time I enter through that door, they are smiling and excited to see me. Dr. S, when examining my teeth, always asks "you doing okay?" This makes me happy because he really cares for your comfort. AFFORDABLE!!! Update: I got my braces off in May (2022) and my teeth look fabulous! No more crowding!! I recently got my teeth cleaned and for the first time, they feel truly clean!! You MUST visit Studebaker Orthodontics.

There just aren't enough words or stars to represent the care, professionalism, and work ethic exuded at Studebaker Ortho. Dr. Studebaker is a kind and gentle man. His staff are professional and get right to it. I'm so glad we found them and my daughter was able to have her teeth redesigned here. We are thoroughly happy with the process and final product! We highly recommend them!!!

Visiting Dr. Studebaker's office for the first time was a breath of fresh ( and cool ! ) air. I have quite experienced anything like this before. The staff is simply remarkable - very personable, genuinely friendly, eager to help, very knowledgeable, incredibly well organized and equipped. I honestly could not offer up enough praise. We bought my young daughter in for an examination and we did not have to wait at all. The paperwork was all modernized and they did their best to minimize the time spent on that. I have honestly never seen anything like the way the staff was so incredibly friendly, caring and careful, and efficient. Everyone I met there seemed to be happy to be there, and things just worked as smooth as could be. Everything that was done was explained in perfectly clear terms. We even downloaded app's to our smart phones and within minutes could look at the very sophisticated X-Rays and other images. It seemed very futuristic in the best of ways - high technology employed to educate and make everyone's life at least a little easier. We wound up getting my daughter in that SAME afternoon to braces. I was literally stunned at how affordable and quick it was. They even set up a monthly payment plan and again explained everything very clearly and made sure we knew what was going on at all times. And, meeting Dr Studebaker was a true honor. He is clearly a humble man, yet also a highly capable person as well as a decorated Naval Commander who has clearly earned all of his awards. My daughter's new braces look perfect, and she has already adjusted to them after a mere 24 hours. I could not recommend a place any higher than this. My wife, daughter and I are thrilled to have discovered this remarkable man, his excellent staff, and the top-tier orthodontics business he has created. Sincerely, james

Absolutely love this Place! Every time my son goes for his appointment he always comes out happy. The staff here are amazing. My son Chase being 16 I allow him to go in alone as I wait in the car. Once his appointment is over the young ladies that walk out with him to tell me about his appointment, what was done, and adjustments if any are always so polite. His teeth already look amazing I can't wait to see the end result! It's almost sad that he is near done with his braces and I'll miss their smiling faces! I will for sure refer this office to anyone I know needing services! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Thanks for your amazing work and professional service!!

Dr Studebaker and his staff are amazing! They were on top of keeping our appointments regular with great reminders and convenient scheduling. And the result on my son's teeth and jaw is going to be life changing for him - the work turned out fantastic and I will be sending my daughter there for her braces, 100%!
