At a young age, Dr. Feurstein made his decision to become the kind of dentist that could put patients at ease while he cared for their teeth and oral health. This decision took him to Columbia University where he earned a degree in chemical engineering and then to the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1985. He then completed a residency at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
After his residency, he practiced in the Bronx and then in Port Chester, NY with his childhood dentist showing him the ropes from years of experience. In 1992 he opened his practice in Mount Kisco. In addition to being a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Northern Westchester Study Club and the Saw Mill Dental Club, he teaches laser and general dentistry to residents at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. He is a member of the Stamford Model Railroad Club.
In our location adjacent to Northern Westchester Hospital, we treat patients from all over Westchester County. Our patients come from Mount Kisco, Bedford, Bedford Hills, Kitchawan, Millwood, Pleasantville, Briarcliff Manor, Ossining, Crotonville, Croton-on-Hudson, Chappaqua, Katonah, Cross River, Goldens Bridge, Amawalk, Granite Springs, Purdys, Lincolndale, Crompond, Yorktown Heights, Thornwood, Armonk, Pound Ridge, Scotts Corners and many other points even farther away.
I am so lucky to have stumbled into Dr. Feurstein's office. His staff is warm, welcoming, and extremely efficient. My previous dentist had unsuccessfully attempted to remove the calcium deposits on my two front teeth. His work looked horrendous! Dr. Feurstein removed, replaced, and reshaped the bonding on my teeth and gave me my confidence back. My front teeth look perfect now! I'm so grateful for Stuart and his team's help!!! Definitely recommend!!!!
Stuart Feurstein knew at a young age that he was interested in the medical field and was good at working with his hands. When he was in high school and college, he spent a lot of time in the office of his dentist, who was also a friend of the family.
I didnt know much about dentistry, but I watched as he put his patients at ease with his kind manner, Dr. Feurstein says. The work he did really changed peoples lives and inspired me to want to do the same.
After graduation from Columbia University, where he earned a degree in chemical engineering, Dr. Feurstein attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1985. He completed a residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx and later worked in his hometown, Port Chester, New York, for the dentist who inspired him to follow in his footsteps.
I worked in his office after completing dental school, my residency program and after working in another practice, Dr. Feurstein says. It was almost like a residency program in itself, learning techniques and picking up tips that can only come from years of experience.
Cheryl has been an Office Manager for over 25 years, starting in the field as a Dental Assistant. She came to the practice 2 years ago bringing her extensive knowledge with her. The best part of the job is the daily interaction with patients, as well as educating patients about their insurance, and the financial options available to them in order to achieve their dental goals. She loves the daily challenges the present themselves and finding solutions. In her spare time Cheryl spends time with her extensive family, friends, and her dog. She enjoys gardening and reading.
Jenn has been a Dental Assistant for over 25 years and has experience in many aspects of dentistry, but loves cosmetic dentistry the most. When not working, Jenn enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs, family, friends, and working out.
