Born in Gainesville, Florida Graduated Winter Park High School, Florida Academic Scholar Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tulane University, Biology Honor Society Doctor of Dental Medicine University of Florida College of Dentistry, Deans List Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in the Specialty of Periodontology, University of Tennessee at Memphis in conjunction with the Memphis Veterans Administration Medical Corps
Dr. DeTures training was in Evidence Based Periodontics, including regenerative, pocket reduction, antimicrobial, and implant therapy. Special emphasis was placed on root coverage procedures, esthetic periodontal plastic surgery, bone regeneration, implant and laser therapy.
Our Doctors have been trained to treat every case with special attention, they all know the importance of following the instructions specified in the 99215 medical code for those cases that have a higher level of risk.

Referred by my dentist for lower teeth gum recession. Dr Deture recommended a gum graft where donor tissue is taken from underneath a flap in the roof of my mouth. He and his staff patiently explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. he also gave me excellent pre- and post- operative instructions. I was a bit nervous the day of the procedure but it really was a breeze. I opted for twilight sleep sedation as I have an acute fear of oral surgeons and periodontal work. The procedure was completely painless and I'm so glad I chose Dr Deture. I will be going back for some work on my upper gums and this next time will be even less stressful. Thank you so much Dr Deture and staff

My entire experience was wonderful beginning at check in. I was put at ease immediately by Dental assistant Brittany. Dr Deture answered all my questions patiently, gave me treatment options & was professional & knowledgeable . I highly recommend this specialty practice 100%

Let's be clear. DeTure D.M.D. and nobody in his profesional staff are members of my family, I am not their friend, I don't owe them favors, they do not pay me for my comments nor receive a Pedro's Coupon Discount for treatment. Having said that, I am proud to be a professor of Philosophy, PhD, practicing the virtue of honesty. Enough about me, you don't really care who I am. But you do care about DeTure and his staff. You do expect the highest standards of excellence and humannes from them. That I will tell you. Yes, you will see for yourself they are an uncommon breed of humans. Five Stars only?
