I love being an orthodontist! I feel so fortunate to have joined the most amazing profession in the world. I have found that my ability to help people in such a meaningful way is so rewarding. Its very satisfying to have a people-focused job that also has hands-on technical aspects. I chose orthodontics because it combines the perfect mix of science, art, and genuine personal interaction. I love working with my hands to create beautiful smiles and find the mechanics of orthodontics fascinating.

I am so lucky to have an incredible team. They strive every day to provide the best care for all of our patients. Our team is well trained, dedicated, and driven to provide exceptional care to each and every person who enters our orthodontic office.

I grew up right here in Bend, and I am proud of my education in dental and orthodontic medicine at some of the finest institutions in the Pacific Northwest. I did my undergraduate work at Willamette University in Salem, then attended Oregon Health & Science University in Portland to earn my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After that, I spent time in Seattle pursuing my Master of Science in dentistry and certification in orthodontics at the University of Washington.

Orthodontics is one of the fastest-evolving and exciting areas of dentistry. Treatments continue to improve and evolve year after year, and I am excited to deliver these improvements and innovations to my patients. I regularly participate in continuing education programs through my many professional affiliations. I belong to the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, the Central Oregon Dental Society, and the American Board of Orthodontics, of which I am a board-certified Diplomate. I served as the chair of the Council on New and Younger Members (CONYM) for the American Association of Orthodontists.

I often use my experience in the field to lecture to local high school, hygiene, and dental assisting students about orthodontic techniques and technologies. I also spend much of my time visiting the local public schools to speak to elementary-school children about the importance of great oral hygiene practices.

I have a wonderfully supportive and incredibly patient husband named Trebor. He is a physician assistant at one of our local medical clinics. We have two beautiful little girls named Taylor and Tennyson who are the joy of our lives! We also have a very lively yellow Labrador retriever named Boss.

Outside of the orthodontic office, I have a real passion for volleyball: I have coached a championship-winning local high school team. I am also a board member of the KIDS Center for child abuse prevention and intervention. I love my community and I strive to make it better in everything I do.

Orthodontics truly is the best profession. I am so fortunate to be able to share all the knowledge I have learned with my patients in order to give them beautiful, healthy smiles. The impact that orthodontics has on individuals is life changing, and to be able to be a part of that life-changing experience is so rewarding.

Orthodontics changed my life when I was a child, and I knew from that moment I wanted to have the same effect on people. Orthodontics is a unique specialty because it allows me to work with all types of patients, from young kids to adults. Regardless of their age, I am dedicated to making all my patients experiences at Struble Orthodontics exceptional.

I attended Oregon State University for my Bachelor of Science, and progressed to Oregon Health & Science University for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I earned my Master of Science and certification in orthodontics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Orthodontics is one of the fastest-growing areas in dentistry, which is what makes it so exciting! It is very important to me to stay current with technology and various techniques. Orthodontic care continues to improve and adapt to benefit the patient, and I want to stay current with these changes in order to serve my patients better.

I attend many continuing education courses offered by regional and national orthodontic societies to keep up with recent trends in the field. My current memberships include the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists, Oregon Dental Association, Central Oregon Dental Society, and American Dental Association. In 2019, I completed my Board Certification process and earned my Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics designation.

I am an Oregon Native. Throughout my childhood, central Oregon was always a place where my family would vacation. My husband and I have decided to make Central Oregon our permanent home and it feels like a dream to be able to live here full time now!

I have a wonderfully supportive husband named Trevor. He is a very talented artist - he owns a company called Topo Trail Maps which designs and cultivates three-dimensional hardwood topographical maps that highlight trails all over the world. You have probably seen some around town! We also welcomed the newest member of our family in December 2019, our baby boy, Nash. He is such a fun-loving, energetic little guy that keeps us very busy!

You will find Trevor, Nash, Garth (our goofy golden retriever) and myself outside, my days off. We love to run, hike, mountain bike, ski, campanything outdoors. Bend is the perfect playground for us and we love being a part of this wonderful community.

For me, being an orthodontist is a dream come true! It all started when I was 10 or 11 years old. I know its not something a lot of kids aspire to be, but after going through two phases of braces in addition to headgear and expanders, I knew firsthand just how transformative and beneficial orthodontics could be.

Starting during my own treatment, I became fascinated with the art and science of orthodontics, plus I love that I get to work with patients of all ages one-on-one. I cherish the relationships Im able to form and deeply enjoy watching their smiles improve over time thanks to my care.

I am originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and thats also where I completed my fundamental dental training. I then moved to Oregon for my orthodontic residency at OSHU, and I quickly fell in love with the state, so I never left! I started practicing in Bend before finding my home here at Struble Orthodontics. In addition to this orthodontic office having a FANTASTIC view, I also look forward to learning and growing alongside two great mentors, Dr. Struble and Dr. Crosta.

Like most people in the Bend community, a lot of my free time is spent outdoors! From downhill and Nordic skiing to mountain biking to running and hiking, you name it, Im into it. My husband Jake (an oral surgeon) and I also like adventuring with our two high-energy dogsFrank the Vizla and Finn the GSP. If the weather forces me to be inside, I enjoy baking and am a coffee FIEND.
