Dr. Strouds connection to dentistry goes WAY back to when he was just six years old. Thats when he visited the dentists office for the first time and had a great experience! From that point on, he knew he wanted to become a dentist too when he was all grown up, and he never wavered when it came to reaching that goal.
Dr. Stroud was born in Weatherford, where most of his family still lives, and grew-up in Granbury where he graduated from high school. After completing his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M, Dr. Stroud achieved his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Baylor College of Dentistry, followed by a Pediatric Residency. During that time, he was elected by his peers as President of his class for all four years and Student Body President in his 4th year! To further expand his skill set, he has also undergone advanced training at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital and Childrens Medical Center of Dallas while also attending continuing education courses through SPEAR Education. He is Board-Certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, as well as a diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). He is also a member of various other state and local societies.
Dr. Stroud is married to Emily Graham Stroud, who is a financial planner and the owner of Stroud Financial Management. She is the author of a bestselling book called Faithful Finance! They have two children together and a dog named Penny. In his free time, he enjoys helping his kids with sporting events, traveling, snow skiing, attending church, and collecting autographs and movie memorabilia. He rotates his collection for everyone to see at the dental office, so be on the lookout!
Dr. Ball needed quite a bit of complex dental care as a child, including several years of braces and an early dental implant! These experiences led him to explore the dental field more thoroughly as he grew up. Several local dentists mentored him during college and ignited his passion for this type of work. Hes always wanted his career to involve children in some way, and becoming a pediatric dentist gave him the opportunity to help little ones in need and keep them smiling brightly!
Dr. Ball was born in Fort Worth and raised in Itasca, where his family still lives. He attended high school in Abbott, before attending Texas A&M University for his undergraduate degree. Dr. Ball attended Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). He then completed his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from UPMC Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh during a two-year residency program. He is currently Board-Eligible with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), as well as several other local and state organizations.
Dr. Balls wife, Kate, is currently attending pharmacy school in Dallas, and they have a golden retriever named Ryder and a cat named Artyk at home. In his spare time, you can usually find him reading, hiking, skiing, watching various A&M sporting events, and building computers. He also loves traveling his favorite vacation destination so far is Alaska!

This was a referral from my primary dentist bc my daughter has to be put under for dental work. And Oh my gosh... amazing from the initial phone call to the very end of the process! They Got my child in on the same day as the call bc of an opening. My daughter has high anxiety at dentists and this one was so easy for her and we had no problems or issues. I have finally found a dentist that talks to me and her as we want to be involved and have options and a professional opinion. We are switching dental plans and dentists today.

Very friendly and professional staff. Dr. Ball is terrific. He is thorough and explains options and outcomes clearly as well as the hygienists. Today on the way home from their visit both my boys said the really like Dr. Ball because he's really nice and funny.

Dr. Ball was kind and quick with my 4 y.o. He made going to the dentist seem fun. After discovering several problem areas, Dr. Ball explained treatment options and potential issues that could arise. It was a wonderful experience overall.

Do not take anyone to see these frauds especially your Children! They frauduently charged me for services my insurance company told them were 100% covered. The insurance company played the recording of their call and them being told it was 100% covered. When confronted, they lied and said the insurance told them to collect additional funds. They were supposed to issue a refund but instead 3 weeks later kept my money and told me to find another dentist. I filed criminal theft and fraud charges with my bank and will be filing with the sherriff on Monday. Do yourself a favor and keep right on looking if you need a Dentist!!

We were terrified about our child being sedated for 2 extractions but everything went amazing! Staff were incredible - made sure everyone was happy and comfortable. Will 100% recommend Stroud Pediatric and will coninue to use their services. Thank you for such an incredible experience, even under such stressful circumstances

We have been using Dr Stroud for a little over a year now and have had a great experience. The staff is so kind and caring towards the younger children who are a little timid of the dentist. Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

Amazing experience! First dentist I didn't have to hold my 3 year old and he even let them take X-rays and look in his mouth! Best experience we have had at the dentist. Would highly recommend !

My daughter has seen Dr. Stroud for 12 years. He and his entire staff (dental and office personnel) are amazing, They are all caring, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. The kindness coupled with their professionalism are unmatched. I will be so sad when she outgrows them.

If you are looking for a children's dentist in the DFW area, LOOK NO FURTHER! This place is AMAZING! So much so, my 4 year old cannot wait to go to his dentists appointments! Kids love it here! I wish they would let me be a patient! All the staff is super friendly. Dr. Stroud is great with kids, parents, and even my one year old! Best pediatric dentist I have ever been to! I refer everyone to them!

We had a minor dental emergency. Our 5 year old had knocked her front tooth out trying to pull legos apart with her front teeth. Our dentist was unable to see us and referred us to Dr. Stroud's office. They were amazing! I believe the woman who answered was named Kerri and she almost immediately made me feel better. She offered to see us or to just have us send a picture in of the tooth. We eventually opted to send in a picture. A short time later she called back to let us know the tooth looked fine and everything would be ok, at no charge. I asked if I could pay something for what they had done but she refused saying that this was what what they do! If you are looking for a good dentist office, I strongly suggest this one! I was so very impressed and thankful for what they did for us today! Grateful!

We come from a long line of dental check ups ending in tears, so we all walked into our new dentist feeling extra nervous. From the moment we walked in the doors, my kids were greeted with smiles and conversations directed toward them before me. They felt comfortable and content, and the staff was so good to stop anytime they noticed the kids were getting anxious. We made it through our check ups with no tears, and all subsequent visits with Dr. Ball ended with our kids asking when they could return to see him again. We could not have asked for a better experience with Dr. Stroud and Dr. Ball, and we even have a new proclaimed career choice from our six year old, hanging up a lifelong dream of being Batman... to be a "Dentist guy." Thanks so much to the entire staff!
