A graduate of Angelo State University, Dr. Shelly Stromboe went on to receive her dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating at the top of her class. Following dental school, her desire to provide an extensive array of dental and surgical treatments to her family of patients led Dr. Stromboe to pursue two years of post-doctoral training in Advanced General Dentistry at the Audie Murphy V.A. Hospital in San Antonio. She later returned to San Angelo to practice dentistry where her interest in healthcare first began.

Dr. Stromboe strongly believes in staying active in continuing education in order to better serve her patients. She regularly attends classes to update her skills and to keep her abreast of the most advanced techniques in dentistry. A leader in the local dental community, Dr. Stromboe served as President of the San Angelo Dental Society. She also traveled as part of a team that provided dental care to needy children in a remote village in Belize, and she participated in dental research at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

Dr. Stromboe is married to Dr. Ed Olson, a professor at Angelo State University, and they have two children Zoe and Jax. In her free time, Dr. Stromboe enjoys fishing, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Business ManagerIn her role as our Business Manager, Velvet helps with your insurance and financial arrangements so you can afford the smile of your dreams. Her many years of experience make her very skilled in organizing our behind the scenes functions. At home Velvet loves to craft, read, and take walks with her husband and their fur babies (they actually take their cats in a stroller!). She also enjoys traveling and attending concerts with her daughter and son-in-law.

Hygiene Coordinator Hygiene Coordinator Vanessa has been providing outstanding patient care since 1993. Building patient relationships and treating patients like her second family is her specialty. Outside of work she and her husband enjoy family activities including sports, hunting, fishing and doing anything outdoors.

Registered Dental AssistantYvette has been a registered dental assistant since 2014 and joined our team in 2017. Creating an excellent patient experience is her top priority. Her goal is to ensure patients are well educated and feel comfortable in our office. When she isnt working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their three kids and three fur babies.

Registered Dental AssistantKarrie has been a Dental Assistant for 15 years. Her knowledge and experience allow her to make sure your questions are answered and you are always getting quality care. Keeping you comfortable is her first priority. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Registered Dental HygienistAngela has provided excellent care for her patients with Dr Stromboe since 2008 and is dedicated to improving the lives of her patients through quality care and education. She enjoys spending time with her family.

Registered Dental Hygienist Jill has provided excellent care for her patients with Dr Stromboe since 2003. Jill enjoys educating patients about their dental care while constantly improving their oral and overall health. Her many years of experience in dentistry make her a valuable resource and friend to every person who steps through our door. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three girls.

Registered Dental Hygienist Virginia is our newest dental family member! She has been practicing for 6 years and is excited to get to know each of our patients while providing excellent care. She is a member of the Concho Valley Hygiene Association and the Colgate Oral Health Association. At home, she is the center of heavenly chaos with her husband and their two daughters.
