Dr. Shelly Strohman and our dental team endeavor to give every patient only the best in dental care.
We always put your familys needs first, not ours. That means we will never recommend a treatment unless it is absolutely necessary for your dental health. If there is an easier and more conservative approach to a problem, it will probably be the one we suggest. We will also make sure that you are always aware of your treatment options so that you can make well-informed, confident decisions about your dental care.
Dental emergencies can be extremely high-stress situations, and when youre in pain, you just want to know that someone will be able to take care of you. At Strohman Dental, you can trust that well be there for you right when you need us the most. Well make every effort to see you as soon as possible and relieve your pain as fast as we can. If you ever find yourself in the middle of a dental emergency, dont worry, we have you covered.
Our office is a very welcoming and relaxing environment, and one of the ways we make sure it stays that way is by having numerous amenities on hand. We have TVs in every room (kids love it!), and we only use digital x-rays to provide you faster results and expose you to less radiation. Plus, we only use a digital scanner to take impressions. That means you wont ever have to bite into cold, yucky dental putty ever again!
Dr. Strohman is from Oklahoma and has lived right here in Wichita Falls for over 13 years. Shes been providing high-quality, personalized dental care for 13 years and counting. She attended Oklahoma State University before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the UMKC School of Dentistry. She also has her Level I Sedation Permit, as well as certification in basic life support and nitrous oxide. Being able to give so many patients back their confident, healthy smiles is her favorite part of the job! She is currently a memberof the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, 13th District Dental Society, and Texhoma Christian Care Center Board of Directors.
Dr. Strohman and her husband Wayne have twin sons named Ryder and Noah. When she isnt busy at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, cycling, and cheering on her boys during their swimming and soccer events. She also enjoys running marathons and has completed four so far, including the 2013 Boston Marathon.
Lisa has been working in dentistry for 11 years so far, first joining Dr. Strohman seven years ago. She greatly enjoys meeting new people and getting to know patients every day. She and her husband Patrick have three children named Mandy, Kyle, and Cooper. When she isnt busy at the office, she enjoys biking riding, reading, and home decorating!
Kendra has been a member of our practice for three years so far, and she has four overall years of dental world experience. She attended Vernon College and is certified in both nitrous oxide and pit and fissure sealants. She loves meeting new people through her job, as well as spending time with her wonderful coworkers.
Originally from Wichita Falls, Kendra is the proud mom of two sons and a daughter. Her hobbies include watching her boys play sports, shopping, working out, and watching Netflix. She strongly believes that having a good sense of humor makes anything you do interesting!
Valorie has been working in dentistry for seven years and counting, first joining Dr. Strohmans team four years ago. She underwent ATI career training and is certified in both nitrous oxide and pit and fissure sealants. She loves the people she works with, and lunchtime is always her favorite part of the day.
Originally from Sachse, Valorie has lived in Wichita Falls for five years now. Her family consists of Keegan, Blair, Johnny, and June. When she isnt busy at the office, she enjoys eating, dancing, hanging out with friends, and playing with her dogs. She is also a natural redhead!
Mollie originally hails from Iowa Park, and attended Midwestern State University. Today, she has been a member of our dental team for six years now, and she is certified in both BLS and nitrous oxide. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know all of the patients so well. She enjoys seeing whole families especially! Also, working alongside such amazing coworkers is a joy for her.
Mollie has been married for eight years, and she and her husband Lance have a daughter named Emerie and a son named Hayes. Outside of the office, her hobbies include spending time with family, camping, and running. She decided that she wanted to be a dental hygienist when she was only 13 years old!
Betsy first started working in dentistry in 2009, and she joined our practice in 2010. After spending many years as a dental assistant, she chose to start working as a dental hygienist in 2016. She graduated from Midwestern State University, earning the Magna Cum Laude distinction. She was also the president of her dental hygiene class and was awarded the Golden Scaler Award for outstanding clinical performance! Today, she is certified in both nitrous oxide monitoring and BLS. She loves spending time with her coworkers and getting to work at her dream job every single day.
Betsy is originally from Wichita Falls, but shes lived in Iowa Park for about eight years now. She is a wife and mother of one daughter, and her interests outside of dentistry including camping and spending time with her family.

I was very impressed with Dr. Strohman and her staff. I was seen at her office for a recurring toothache. The doctor quickly diagnosed an infection under a crown and discussed treatment options to clear the infection and then to find a permanent solution for this crown. The staff was very professional and I was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. They offered to send the results to my regular dentist and to my periodontist. If I did not already have a dentist I wouldn't hesitate to select Dr. Shelly Strohman and her staff as my permanent dentist.

As everyone knows, going to the dentist is not my idea of a great afternoon. However, Strohman Dental makes it better than all the rest. They are always friendly and genuinely care about their patients. I have not had to have any major work done with them, but they make my visit quick and easy. They have suggested some things that would be better for me, but don't push me to do any of them until I am ready. I would recommend them to anyone.

I absolutely love the staff at Strohman Dental!! They are always friendly, kind, and courteous. Jennifer, my dental hygienist, was warm and inviting and showed a genuine interest in my family and me. Now on to Dr. Shelley Strohman, she is the ABSOLUTE best dentist I have ever been to see in my 50 years!! She is knowledgeable and up to date in the most current practices. Dr. Strohman knows her patients by name and genuinely cares about their well being. I don't normally write reviews but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to share my experiences at this office. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Shelley Strohman and her staff!!

As an older person with several dental issues, I need excellent dental care and continue to be impressed by Dr Strohman and her staff. Today I had an excellent cleaning by the dental hygienist, Jennifer. Dr. Strohman did an oral examination and gave me several options for my continued care. She actually listens to my prospective ideas for dental treatment and then provides her advice and subsequent recommendations. Dr Strohman also agreed to provide technical assistance on options I am investigating.

The website advertises emergency dental, but after calling in an emergency for a 5 year old in severe pain, I was told that service is only for current patients. They also advertise that they will walk you through steps to take in an emergency and they will "leap into action" to help. I was greeted over the phone with "that service is only for current patients" and a click. That is completely fine if that is your policy. But maybe advertise this for the moms that have been up 12+ hours with a screaming child looking for help.

Dr. Strohman and her staff take great care to make me feel comfortable at each dental visit. They explain each part of the process and they answer any questions that I have. Their office is super clean and very well run. I never have to wait long when I arrive for my appointment. They do a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. I love this place!

I truly cannot say enough great things about Dr. Strohman and her staff! I went through a lengthy process involving a dental implant and crown. They were there, every step of the way, and I felt valued and prioritized by them! If you are looking for a new dentist, please go to Dr. Strohman and her team. They are the best!

I have used Strohman Dental since shortly after it opened and highly recommend that practice to anyone. Dr. Strohman is highly competent, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable, and the entire staff is great. The practice is also up-to-date in all areas.
