Dr. Claire Stroede (pronounced STROH-dee) was raised on a farm near Kanopolis, Kansas. She attended high school in the neighboring town of Ellsworth. After graduating first in her high school class, Dr. Stroede left the family farm to study mechanical engineering at Kansas State University. While at K-State she earned B.S. and M.S. degrees, graduating with highest honors and a nearly perfect GPA. Dr. Stroede proudly represented K-State on the national academic stage as both a Goldwater Scholar and a National Science Foundation Graduate Student Fellow.
After spending 6 years in Manhattan, Dr. Stroede moved to Wichita and worked as a structural engineer in the aircraft industry. Dr. Stroede spent 6 years in Wichita working to maintain the safety of general aviation aircraft. She analyzed metal fatigue and crack growth in aircraft parts to determine when parts should be inspected or replaced. Dr. Stroede held the title of Senior Engineer before she was blessed with the opportunity to pursue a long-time interest in dentistry.

Jennifer is our Office Manager, and she brings many years of experience in insurance and orthodontics to the Stroede Orthodontics business team. If you need assistance with making payments, financial arrangements, or have billing questions, she will help you out. She is a big fan of anything owls or Disney.
As the Records Coordinator, Laura takes all of our photos and x-rays for new and current patients. She also works in the sterilization area and makes orthodontic appliances and retainers. Her beagle, Hank, gets a lot of Laura's time when she isn't working. Photography is one of Laura's other passions.
Kim is one of our Scheduling Coordinators. She takes pleasure in getting to know our patients and families to make sure everyone feels comfortable in our practice. Antiquing is her hobby. She even has a booth at a local shop.
Katie is one of our Treatment Coordinators. She loves seeing bright smiles at work every day. Katie enjoys traveling and spending time with her young nephews. When you see Katie, ask her about her pet dog, Pearl.
Sami is a Patient Care Coordinator at Stroede Orthodontics. She loves using her skills to create beautiful smiles. When she was little Sami wanted to be a pilot. If she could have any super power today, she would love to fly.
Ashley wears multiple hats in our office. She is both a Treatment Coordinator and a Patient Care Coordinator. Ashley particularly enjoys placing and removing braces. When the weather is nice, you can often find Ashley at the lake with her friends and family.
Jenny is one of our Patient Care Coordinators, Jenny uses her artistic talents to help create beautiful smiles. After hours, Jenny loves spending time with her family and making sparkly custom epoxy tumblers.
Samantha is one of our Scheduling Coordinators. She grew up in South Kansas City, Missouri. She enjoys spending time outside the office with her son and family. When the weather is nice, you can find Samantha at the farm riding horses and playing with the dogs.

We have had a great experience with Stroede orthodontist! The staff is friendly and do a great job with my daughter on her visits! The initial appointments it was very clear on the billing and they even made it very easy for us to split the bill between two people! Very pleased and happy we chose Stroede as they have multiple locations for convenience and have been so great to work with!

Everyone is very kind and friendly. They are understanding and patient. My child is not nervous to go. Our first meeting, they went over in detail what to expect and how our childs teeth will move in stages. They have three convenient locations. We recommend Stroede.

0 stars should be the rating. The orthodontic care isn't the issue. The issue is their billing manager's complete dis-respect/regard for working people's bank balances, I'll elaborate....I had the 3rd of 4 $1500 payments due July 30 and set to auto-debit on the date due. At my daughter's appointment June 23rd I decided to pay early with a check, 5 weeks early. At the time there was a discussion with the front desk worker re: the early payment and the need for the auto-debit to be cancelled and I was assured that would be no problem. Flash forward to July 30 and guess who's bank account was overdrawn by -$600. The office was unapologetic and spent as much time theorizing how I contributed partially to their error and diminished the idea that an unexpected $1500 withdrawal was a big deal. In the course of the office's communications with me it seemed apparent that it was a huge inconvenience to rectifying my bank balance on a Friday before the 1st of the month by depositing the error back in my account. In the course of the follow up communications I (of course) expressed some trust issues with allowing future access to my bank account for the final payment due in January and the billing manager of the office said they were dismissing my daughter from their care....this office's billing manager, Jennifer, is an imbecile. In regard to the response that Jennifer, the office manager wrote to this review and attributed to Dr Stroede, the police were indeed called and contacted me and were very surprised that they had been called as there has been no threats in any communication from me with the office. Well Jennifer you aren't going to bully me into silence by making false police reports. My new hobby is telling the truth about you, and by association this office, in every public forum I can access. Tl;Dr office manager called police because it's hurts her feelings she made a horrible error with $1500 of my money and posted 1, so far, scathing review....this is an office that provided orthodontia for another of my kids and that I stuck with after moving 200 miles away, I gave them every chance to make this right and they chose to blame me and call the police, wasting op tax money

My daughter is a patient of Dr.Stroede and we are extremely happy! The office is clean and everyone is always friendly!! You can tell Dr. Stroede loves what she does and always takes the time to answer all of our questions at every visit. Highly recommend Dr. Stroede.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Stroede and we were very pleased with her attention to detail and professionalism. The staff has always been very helpful and courteous and I highly recommend Dr. Stroede's services! My daughter's teeth were very crooked prior to treatment and now they are straight and beautiful! We LOVE Stroede and her whole staff! Our experiences have been over the span of her whole time here. The office staff, hygienists, and Doc have been exemplary. There is an office conveniently located in multiple cities, which I love, so we can get appointments worked into OUR lives rather than be ran by our appointments.
