Dr. Claire Stroede (pronounced STROH-dee) was raised on a farm near Kanopolis, Kansas. She attended high school in the neighboring town of Ellsworth. After graduating first in her high school class, Dr. Stroede left the family farm to study mechanical engineering at Kansas State University. While at K-State she earned B.S. and M.S. degrees, graduating with highest honors and a nearly perfect GPA. Dr. Stroede proudly represented K-State on the national academic stage as both a Goldwater Scholar and a National Science Foundation Graduate Student Fellow.
After spending 6 years in Manhattan, Dr. Stroede moved to Wichita and worked as a structural engineer in the aircraft industry. Dr. Stroede spent 6 years in Wichita working to maintain the safety of general aviation aircraft. She analyzed metal fatigue and crack growth in aircraft parts to determine when parts should be inspected or replaced. Dr. Stroede held the title of Senior Engineer before she was blessed with the opportunity to pursue a long-time interest in dentistry.

Jennifer is our Office Manager, and she brings many years of experience in insurance and orthodontics to the Stroede Orthodontics business team. If you need assistance with making payments, financial arrangements, or have billing questions, she will help you out. She is a big fan of anything owls or Disney.
As the Records Coordinator, Laura takes all of our photos and x-rays for new and current patients. She also works in the sterilization area and makes orthodontic appliances and retainers. Her beagle, Hank, gets a lot of Laura's time when she isn't working. Photography is one of Laura's other passions.
Kim is one of our Scheduling Coordinators. She takes pleasure in getting to know our patients and families to make sure everyone feels comfortable in our practice. Antiquing is her hobby. She even has a booth at a local shop.
Katie is one of our Treatment Coordinators. She loves seeing bright smiles at work every day. Katie enjoys traveling and spending time with her young nephews. When you see Katie, ask her about her pet dog, Pearl.
Sami is a Patient Care Coordinator at Stroede Orthodontics. She loves using her skills to create beautiful smiles. When she was little Sami wanted to be a pilot. If she could have any super power today, she would love to fly.
Ashley wears multiple hats in our office. She is both a Treatment Coordinator and a Patient Care Coordinator. Ashley particularly enjoys placing and removing braces. When the weather is nice, you can often find Ashley at the lake with her friends and family.
Jenny is one of our Patient Care Coordinators, Jenny uses her artistic talents to help create beautiful smiles. After hours, Jenny loves spending time with her family and making sparkly custom epoxy tumblers.
Samantha is one of our Scheduling Coordinators. She grew up in South Kansas City, Missouri. She enjoys spending time outside the office with her son and family. When the weather is nice, you can find Samantha at the farm riding horses and playing with the dogs.

Dr. Stroede was recommended to us and we have had the best experience. The staff has been amazing walking us through braces for my son. They have been so kind answering our questions and preparing as to what to expect. When we walk in the staff is so welcoming and my son feels very comfortable. Dr. Stroede is friendly, explains things very well, and is great to work with. The cost is reasonable and having three office locations is convenient. We have had no issues with the braces. I would recommend this office to anyone!

We had great experiences with Young Orthodontist before Stroede bought it. It has been nothing but a pain since. Brackets have come off of my son's teeth 5 minutes after we left his appointment several times. Now I have to go back and have a permanent retainer replaced on his top teeth and ot on $195. I would blame it all on my son but my daughter had to have a bottom retainer replaced and never had anything replaced at Young and it came off a week after they replaced it.

This is a very professional office that excels with customer service. They always fit us in last minute if there was a problem. Dr. Stroede is always present and involved. She is a perfectionist and her background as an engineer combined with her skill as an orthodontist make for top notch results. We couldn't be happier- we used her for two children's orthodontic work. I promise she will never disappoint. Her dedication is over the top!

We set up a consultation with Stroede Orthodontics and were extremely impressed with everyone in the office. It was an easy choice for us to choose them for my daughter's ortho work. We went back a week later to get her braces on and everyone was again very pleasant and very efficient. Both times we were taken back for our appointment on time and the work took less time than expected to complete. Plus, their locations are very convenient. I would highly recommend them for your Ortho needs!

I had my first consultation for braces at Stroede Orthodontics on March 10th. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was nice meeting Dr. Stroede. I could tell she knew what she was doing. She explained the braces process well and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed and felt comfortable making my decision on that same day. I had my next appointment on March 17th to get my top braces, next appointment will be my bottom teeth. This works for me.

I love this place!!! They greet me by first name as soon as I walk in.. .(but it has been 4 years that I've been with them ) I love everyone from the front desk, to billing, to the techs, as well as Dr. Stroede Thanks to all for all that you do: from the front of the house to the back... This smile, when all said and done with , will be life changing. .. I owe it all to the team that makes you and Dr Stroede great ! !

I had my first consultation for braces at Stroede Orthodontics on March 10th. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was nice meeting Dr. Stroede. I could tell she knew what she was doing. She explained the braces process well and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed and felt comfortable making my decision on that same day. I had my next appointment on March 17th to get my top braces, next appointment will be my bottom teeth. This works for me.

They are very kind and patient and understanding! There's more than one location to go to! We always went to the Overland Park location it was closer to bring in Greenwood. Always greeted you with smiles when coming in ! The atmosphere was also like that, calm and comforting, and welcoming!
