Dr. Claire Stroede (pronounced STROH-dee) was raised on a farm near Kanopolis, Kansas. She attended high school in the neighboring town of Ellsworth. After graduating first in her high school class, Dr. Stroede left the family farm to study mechanical engineering at Kansas State University. While at K-State she earned B.S. and M.S. degrees, graduating with highest honors and a nearly perfect GPA. Dr. Stroede proudly represented K-State on the national academic stage as both a Goldwater Scholar and a National Science Foundation Graduate Student Fellow.
After spending 6 years in Manhattan, Dr. Stroede moved to Wichita and worked as a structural engineer in the aircraft industry. Dr. Stroede spent 6 years in Wichita working to maintain the safety of general aviation aircraft. She analyzed metal fatigue and crack growth in aircraft parts to determine when parts should be inspected or replaced. Dr. Stroede held the title of Senior Engineer before she was blessed with the opportunity to pursue a long-time interest in dentistry.

Jennifer is our Office Manager, and she brings many years of experience in insurance and orthodontics to the Stroede Orthodontics business team. If you need assistance with making payments, financial arrangements, or have billing questions, she will help you out. She is a big fan of anything owls or Disney.
As the Records Coordinator, Laura takes all of our photos and x-rays for new and current patients. She also works in the sterilization area and makes orthodontic appliances and retainers. Her beagle, Hank, gets a lot of Laura's time when she isn't working. Photography is one of Laura's other passions.
Kim is one of our Scheduling Coordinators. She takes pleasure in getting to know our patients and families to make sure everyone feels comfortable in our practice. Antiquing is her hobby. She even has a booth at a local shop.
Katie is one of our Treatment Coordinators. She loves seeing bright smiles at work every day. Katie enjoys traveling and spending time with her young nephews. When you see Katie, ask her about her pet dog, Pearl.
Sami is a Patient Care Coordinator at Stroede Orthodontics. She loves using her skills to create beautiful smiles. When she was little Sami wanted to be a pilot. If she could have any super power today, she would love to fly.
Ashley wears multiple hats in our office. She is both a Treatment Coordinator and a Patient Care Coordinator. Ashley particularly enjoys placing and removing braces. When the weather is nice, you can often find Ashley at the lake with her friends and family.
Jenny is one of our Patient Care Coordinators, Jenny uses her artistic talents to help create beautiful smiles. After hours, Jenny loves spending time with her family and making sparkly custom epoxy tumblers.
Samantha is one of our Scheduling Coordinators. She grew up in South Kansas City, Missouri. She enjoys spending time outside the office with her son and family. When the weather is nice, you can find Samantha at the farm riding horses and playing with the dogs.

I never write reviews but after my kids appointment this week they told me that the new red head girl Ashley didn't know what she was doing and was extremely rough with them! She would mutter curse words or make noises every time she got frustrated! Very unprofessional and no compassion!!!! We will be asking for someone else every appointment from now on! Beware!!!

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Stroede since she arrived in the area and we have not been disappointed with her professionalism and attention to detail. The front staff ladies are always helpful and courteous. Our favorite tech, Natalie, is incredibly helpful. She has helped me understand the progress of our daughter's teeth without making me feel stupid. As for Dr. Stroede's skill, she has corrected the error from the previous orthodontist we had- and it was BAD! You will not be disappointed.

WOW! I can't say enough good things about the staff and Dr. Stroede. From the first consult to the final exam, they did an amazing job.... For my daughter, they made her feel welcome and comfortable with the process. They lived up to her expectations and the staff was consistent with the quality of care they provided her. For me, they worked with the insurance company and provided an excellent plan to complete payment. Having multiple locations helped me plan my daughter's appointment. I'm happy to say, they'll be getting repeat business form me when it comes time for my son. Thanks for making and giving my daughter a wonderful smile!

The consultation was a great experience. Very polite and treated my son and us with respect. They were completely honest and told us our son was not ready for braces, but wanted to monitor his teeth. And follow up in six months to access his growth. We will not pay anything until he actually gets braces.

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly from the beginning! Heather Kindig, treatment coordinator, was very knowledgeable and super easy to talk to! Dr. Stroede is kind and made me feel very comfortable. I really wish I could remember the woman who worked the front desks name! She was great! Overall, I had a very pleasant visit and highly recommend Stroede Orthodontics!
