Dr. Tony Stretesky earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics and Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma before heading out to Virginia to begin his path to his dental career. In 1976, Dr. Stretesky received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia, where he also obtained his certificate in orthodontics two years later.
In practice since 1978, Dr. Stretesky is a part-time Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and the American Board of Pain Management, he stays active in the dental community with memberships in the following organizations:
He remains active in the MCV/VCU Alumni Association and the OU Alumni Association. Dr. Stretesky is also quite involved in the community as a member of the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce and the Ardmore Rotary Club, where hes a Paul Harris Fellow.
Prior to his orthodontic career, Dr. Stretesky was busy being a Lead & Senior Electronic Systems Engineer at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA (1964-1972).
We are pleased to announce that Dr. George Dula has taken over the orthodontic practice of his friend and mentor, Dr. Tony Stretesky. Dr. Dula, a native of southern Oklahoma and a graduate of Plainview High School, pursued a career as an orthodontist after being introduced to it by Dr. Stretesky while still in high school.
After graduating from Plainview High School, Dr. Dula earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Oklahoma State University. He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Dula performed his residency in orthodontics at the University of Louisville Dental School in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Dula is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction achieved by less than one in three orthodontists. Dr. Dula has been in private practice since 1997.
