I have a simple but happy life. Work is a major part of each day, but I have plenty of time to have fun with my friends, too. I try to go to the gym three to four days a week in order to stay healthy. My most favorite thing to do is to eat: when I eat, especially with friends, I feel happy!

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!

I am writing this review to share great praise for Dr. Shauna Fung and her staff at Straight Finish and to express that I am absolutely thrilled with the results achieved with my Invisalign! Well, I had the traditional braces previously with them as well, but I didn't wear my retainers therefore my teeth shifted and I decided to do Invisalign with her. She is an amazing Orthodontist and her staff is excellent to work with, always friendly and accommodating. Both offices offer a clean, modern environment and their availability and locations make it very convenient to schedule appointments where and when you need them. Throughout the entire treatment plan for both times, I felt that Dr. Fung and her staff were supportive, informative and reassuring. They definitely explain every part of the orthodontics process in detail and go over any questions, comments or concerns you have. They really go above and beyond to make sure you leave the office loving your new smile. I am very pleased by the look of my new smile - and yes, I find myself smiling more confidently now! I highly recommend Dr. Fung and her friendly staff; they will be there for you each step of the way.

Friendly Staff Does Not Equal Good Outcomes: My daughter's retainer had low quality the two times I've went there. Both times when they were "fixed" were poorly made. They had excess plastic on the retainers, which they did not care to change even after the first time. The excess parts had cut the inside of my daughter's cheek, gum, and tongue. After our 3 year plan was over, the orthodontics had refused to help unless a consultation fee was paid. I had requested to meet the orthodontist and wanted to go over details about my daughter's braces plan's outcome. My daughter's teeth were not perfectly straight as her front tooth was slightly crooked and one of her canines were raised. Emily the office administrator had insisted on me paying a $100 consultation fee, even though I had mentioned it was for an issue related to their services when my daughter had braces. They continuously insisted on charging me even though they didn't care to acknowledge the problems I had. There is a possibility my daughter will have to get braces a second time. We had went to another professional orthodontist because of how uncomfortable the retainer was for my daughter. The orthodontist had given us feedback on how her teeth was not the best outcome, which is why we didn't realize how poor of a job our original orthodontics had done sooner. Due to their lack of skills, they were unable to make my daughter's teeth completely straight OR create a good retainer which could be used long term.

Office is clean, spacious, and adhering to COVID-19 protocols. From scheduling, checking in to an appointment to seeing the doctor, the process is fast and efficient. Really appreciate how the staff and Dr. Fung take their time explaining treatment options and providing full transparency on payment. I definitely feel cared for as a patient :) I'm almost halfway through my invisalign treatment and I look forward to updating my review at the end!

My son started with Dr. Fung 3 years ago and its been an amazing experience for him. We went with this office because we found out there are very few U.S. board certified Orthodontists compared to general practice dentists offering ortho service. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and always pick up the phone. The team always accommodate as much as possible. Very professional and well run. I've actually seen a time where the patient's parents were beyond rude, but the staff remained professional. We hop between both locations and we rarely wait, even when we show up late or early for our appointments. Dr. Fung truly cares about her patients. While servicing my son, she also examined my younger daughter in anticipation for when she's ready. Dr. Fung prescribed a treatment for her, which is more comfortable for my daughter and less costly for us. Meaning she makes less. I checked with my daughters primary dentist and she agreed it was the right treatment for her, but was surprised because most Ortho practices would just recommend what makes them more money. My wife, also became an Invisalign patient, and had a wonderful 1.5 year experience. Overall, my kids and my wife never complained of pain or discomfort. As compared to my relatives and friends children who are undergoing the same treatment with other dentists. 100% recommend Dr. Fung and Straight Finish.

My kids and myself go there to have our teeth straightened. The staff is nice and the waiting area is clean and spacious. We never have to wait long which we love. Dr. Fung is super attentive and patient with all my questions and concerns. We recommend her to all our friends and family.

I've been visiting Straight Finish for several months now and the experience has been great! The staff are all super nice, professional, and welcoming, and the process has been easy going and simple. Definitely would recommend if you are looking to get braces or have dental cosmetic problems.
