X-rays are an important part of diagnosing treatment in oral health because they allow the dentist to identify problem areas that are otherwise not visible. Many oral health concerns are found between teeth, under soft tissue, or within the bone. Without x-rays, some conditions cannot be identified or diagnosed.
If your child is 5 years or older we would love to treat them in our office. We have plenty of rewards and prizes for our smallest guests when they put on a brave face and show us how grown up they can be in the big chair. Sometimes an experience can be overwhelming and we might need to refer your child to a specialist. We do not allow parents to be in the room with the child during the visit.
