Dr. Ryan Thibodaux has been practicing dentistry since the year 2000. He opened his own practice in 2002 after studying at the LSU School of Dentistry. Storyville Family Dentistry came from a desire to take the clinical feel out of a dental visit, while still providing high-tech and high-quality services.
Many patients arrive at the dentist with a bad memory or experience from another dental office. At Storyville, we work to provide the complete opposite experience. Our office is calm and welcoming and we strive to remain present with every patient in our office.Some patients even mistake our reception area for a living room.
So, what do we do well? We listen. Before any talk of medical history or x-rays, we sit down and get to know our patients personal story. We give new patients a five-minute tour of their own mouth with the highest resolution intra-oral camera on the market. We then sit down shoulder-to-shoulder and look at their mouths together, literally. Dr. Ryan goes through every tooth and every time, our patients say, Wow! I have never seen my teeth like that before!
After weve gotten to know our patients, our staff advocates for each patients personal health and helps guide them to make the best decision for their needs.When we get to know our patient first, we do our jobs better, and we make our patients more comfortable.
While not creating smiles through dentistry or performing with his trumpet, Dr Ryan can be found riding his bike.everywhere. He has pedaled across the United States, pedaled in France and Italy, and pedals to work most days. He loves his bike!
Expert in anything Disney. Has a Masters in Architecture from Tulane University. Loves the beach, but hates sand and sunscreen. Got married in January 2019 and plans semi-annual Disney trips with her husband!
Drea joined our office almost two years ago. Originally from Argentina, she has taught our whole office Spanish and the tango. She got married January 2020 to her husband, Toni. Always confuses her b and v when speaking quickly keeping us all laughing daily.
Has worked with Dr. Ryan for over 8 years. She is also a thriving real estate agent. Diana enjoys traveling with her husband, of which they average 4-5 hours of sleep each night on vacation. She also owns our original office mascot, Pookie, a terrier that survived Hurricane Katrina on a boat. Loves eating sweets but brushes and flosses right after!
Kiki is applying to dental hygiene school this coming school year. She has been an amazing dental assistant to Dr Ryan since 2017. She is a twin and TeeTee to her niece DyNasti. Hates bugs, rain, and cold. Nickname: CookieMonster. Elise enables Kikis cookie obsession by bringing home made cookies often!
Currently in her final year of hygiene school at LSU School of Dentistry. Ashlynn is a twin and married Michael in June 2019 after dating EIGHT years. He is also a twin! Plays kickball and loves queso! Future cat lady.
Currently in her first year of school at LSU School of Dentistry Hygiene Program. Cheez-its are her favorite food group. When she is not out listening to live music and dressing for the occasion, she loves taking selfies with her dog, Miley.

Can't say enough great things about Dr Ryan and his staff. I went to multiple dentists on the Northshore and experienced some unnecessary procedures with a lot of frustration and inflated billing. Dr Ryan was able to get right to it and affix my permanent crown in just 2 visits. His expertise and knowledge is incredible along with an awesome staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else, yet I am 100 miles (round trip) away from his office. Thank you !!

My 2 year old son had his 3rd dental visit today. Elise and Dr Haydel were both patient and amazing as usual! Storyville is highly recommended! You should see the kids' exam room- so cool.

The absolute best care!! Not to mention the friendly staff goes above and beyond. Not only do they put a movie on for my kids to keep them occupied when they have an appointment. They also do the same thing when I have to bring them to mine. Blows me away every time, my kids actually get excited when It is time for a visit. Unheard of!! Cannot recommend this place more!!

My family and I absolutely love everyone here at Storyville!!! They are all so fun, loving, and very friendly! My almost 3 and 5 year old love dr ryan and the staff! I wouldn't want any another dentist! Dr Ryan and staff treats everyone like family!

Once again, Dr. Ryan and Elise does it again! Always going above and beyond when we're there. We love coming here. It's like visiting family when come. My son LOVES them. He counts down until we get there. We've tried so many dental offices in the past. I'm so glad I took a chance on them. It's the best decision ever!! See y'all in six months! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO COME HERE!!!

Just switched dentist to Storyville and WOW what an eye opener! State of the art equipment, friendly staff, fantastic work, and incredibly talented dentists! So gentle, I usually fall asleep in the chair! My whole family now goes to Storyville! Not only would I recommend them to any adult looking for dental work, but their pediatric room is amazing. My 2yr old loves to go! There is a huge wrap around tv that plays Disney movies. Got to come check Dr. Thibodaux and his staff out. They rock!!!!
