My family and I have called Clark County home for more than 10 years. Over that time I have taken cared of over 10,000 children and I count it a privilege to be able to serve them and to interact with them. My life has been greatly enriched as a result.
I received my general dentistry training from the University of Washington, and my pediatric specialty training from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. The research done at these two prestigious institutions have been shaping the art and science of dentistry for over sixty years. I am grateful for the top-flight training I received.
Prior to dental school I completed my Biochemistry degree from the University of Washington, where I learned about the intricate balance between living systems. That knowledge base enabled me to see oral and dental health well beyond filling and drilling. I have developed a deep appreciation for simple principles that can prevent cavities for a lifetime.
My enjoyment in being a Pediatric Dentist comes from teaching and empowering children and their parents to attain optimal oral health. At Storybook Dental, we will partner with you to develop the best prevention strategy that suits your family so that your children can always leave our office 'happily ever after.'
I was born and raised in Taiwan so I am fluent in Mandarin. Having been a missionary in Korea for two years I also have some knowledge of Korean. My wife Misty and I are happy parents of three sons and two daughters, and we are involved with both the Hockinson School District as well as the Vancouver School District.

Amazing with my 6 year old today after a scary experience across the street yesterday they treated him amazing and even though they weren't able to do everything they needed because he was scared from yesterday they still treated him great. Will be bringing him here full time and my other two kids from now on.

Very clean and comfortable office, they were so great making my daughter comfortable during her first visit. The doctor and dental assistants were very nice, and great at explaining everything.

Dr. Hsu was great with my daughter who is not great at the dentist. He expertly sealed her molars and even fixed a tiny cavity while she screamed throughout. We are so thankful for him!

Both my kids go here and everyone there is so nice and accommodating. My oldest is autistic and struggles with severe anxiety. They have spent the time to calm him before procedures to make sure his visit is always successful!

The Dr was so patient and comforted my daughter. The assistants were great as well! She was very scared going in and she didn't even feel the tooth extraction.

All three of my sons are seen here! It's perfect for kids of all ages. The walls are covered in super cool Lego sets! The hygienists are super sweet and so good with kids as well as the doctor being knowledgeable as to what your kid's needs are. When they take you back there is giant tree in the middle of the room which is super cool to look at. My boys would probably say the best part is getting their goodie bag of new toothbrushes, floss, and toothpaste. Also, if your kid need an extraction or filling they have a room with a tv that sits right above their face as the procedure is taking place and it provides a nice distraction for your little one. I would definitely recommend this place!
