Education: After graduating from Siloam Springs High School, Dr. Storms received his Bachelor's Degree in Medical Science from the University of Arkansas. He went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in Memphis where he graduated with honors. Dr. Storms attends a significant number of Continuing Education courses each year. Dr. Storms has completed the required courses at the Kois Center in Seattle and is a Kois Recognized Orthodontic Specialist.

Dr. Storms is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), Arkansas State Dental Association (ASDA), Arkansas Association of Orthodontists,Southwest Society of Orthodontists (SWSO)

Dr. Storms is the Past President of the Arkansas Association of Orthodontists and the Northwest Arkansas District Dental Society. He is currently the State Director for the Southwest Society of Orthodontists.

Awards: As an honors graduate at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Dr. Storms was inducted into the Richard Doggett Dean and Marquerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society. Dr. Storms was also awarded the National Council Fraternal Achievement Award from the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity.

Dr. Storms can often be foundvolunteering his time and financial support towide variety of NWA programs and fundraisers. Chances are you've seen the Storms Orthodontics logo in the outfield at your child's game or on the t-shirt of your school's fundraiser. Dr. Storms understands the value of and is committed to our youth and adolescent programs in NWA.

Dr. Brittany Swiderski received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Psychology at Stony Brook University, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, New York. She attended University of Detroit Mercy School of Dental Medicine for her Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Swiderskis orthodontic training included a focus on the airway dimensions and growth. She spent two years completing data collection on the height, width, and depth of the upper airway and evaluated the changes during treatment and growth of orthodontic patients which she presented as her masters thesis upon graduation. During her dental education, Dr. Swiderski received the American Association of Orthodontics Award, Edwin C Jauch Award, and the Lindsey O. Kesling Award which recognized orthodontic residents who have devoted their extracurricular time to humanitarian and volunteer efforts. She has travelled both nationally and internationally providing dental care to underserved communities such as those in Buffalo, Memphis, Senegal and in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Swiderski is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontics, and the American Dental Association, and is Board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.

After experiencing braces twice, once as a child and once as an adult, Dr. Swiderski is familiar with both the struggles and successes of orthodontic treatment and wants to help everyone achieve the smile theyve dreamed of. My favorite part of orthodontics is solving the puzzle, she tells us. Everyones case is unique, depending on their dentition, skeletal relationship, airway and many other components. It's essential to take all those parts and design a treatment plan and a timeline that leads to success for each individual.Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Swiderski can be found playing ice hockey, making Tik-Toks with friends and family, or exploring Arkansas behind the lens of her camera.

After spending much of her life on the East Coast, Dr. Swiderski decided to escape the snowstorms and short summers for a new adventure. The first time she visited Northwest Arkansas, she saw the green trees, met the friendliest people and felt she had found home. Northwest Arkansas is not where shes from, but she strongly feels like its where shes meant to be. Dr. Swiderski is looking for guidance on the best parts of NWA, so be sure to share your tips for her to explore her new home!
