before I came to Stony Brook dental I had a terrible dentist who I still have nightmares about. I have since seen Dr. Lee and I can say hes very knowledgeable and has an excellent and gentle bedside manner. Im a healthcare provider myself and extremely selective of the professionals I see. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Richard Fishler to Stony Brook Dental Group! Dr. Fishler is a 1995 graduate of the New York University School of Dentistry. From a very early age, Dr. Fishler suffered from dental anxiety. He was never a good patient! But then he met his mentor, a dentist like no other, who helped him overcome his fear and opened his eyes to a career in dentistry. Thanks to his mentor, he quickly realized how great it would be to help people like him. He loved the thought of making someone comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Fast forward to today, and Dr. Fishler has been helping patients overcome their fears for over 25 years!
His professional interests and services include general dentistry, crowns, bridges, extractions, implants, and dentures. He is well-versed in both new and traditional methods of dentistry, which allows him to present every option to his patients. When it comes to his practice philosophy, Dr. Fishler truly believes in a holistic approach treating one patient at a time in an exceptionally gentle manner. He prides himself on his ability to make every patient feel at ease and that they trust he will always recommend what is in their best interest. In addition, he takes the time to explain every procedure step-by-step so the patient can understand, and he strives to make sure that his patients are 100% satisfied with their level of care. Fantastic Dental Group You start with Hailey at the front desk who makes you feel very comfortable. Then there is Jeanette the Assistant who takes great care of you she is just the best and super friendly. Finally there is Dr Aggarwal. Extremely professional and does what ever she can without hurting you. These 3 ladies make coming to the dentist a pleasure.

I had a visit with Dr. Jodi who is new to me as a patient. She's absolutely wonderful. She was able to put on my crowns, guide me through the sensitivity and anxiety I was experiencing and explained everything she was going to do before starting. She talked to me the whole time and gave me breaks without me asking for them. Very thankful for the whole team there. They have been so supportive of me. I'm forever grateful.

I waited only 5 minutes to be called in(Love that)JANINE My hygienist was very gentle &informative(very professional)was A pleasure to see Dr. JOE again for his input.I been with Dr. Wender since 1982 & he would be very proud how his office today maintains what he started total professional , kind & prompt .

I have gone to this office over 30+ years although initially the office was out of Dr Wender's home office I have always been treated with respect and professionalism and although I saw my new dentist there today, it was the exact same treatment and concern - I will return here again and again and recommend this to all past and future patients!

Well, it is a dentist's office, which is not anyone's idea of a pleasant place to have to visit. That being said, the experience was very professional. I arrived a bit before my appointment time and they were able to take me in early. The staff was friendly, the procedures were explained clearly and they attentively checked in on my level of comfort during the procedure.

Made me pay $952 dollars out of pocket because they "couldn't" get through to Delta Dental to verify if the bone graft was covered. Then I had to contact the insurance myself and conference them in. New EOB was issued stating my out of pocket was $238. They had to send to "corporate" to confirm. Then they just stopped answering me. This went on from Aug to Feb. Small Claims court is next. Clowns. Update got my back, upgrade to 3 stars!
