My family and I have been going to this office for probably a couple decades now. Even when living far, I have on occasion traveled just to go to this office to get dental work done. Dr. Hess is seriously awesome, very kind and gentle, and his hygienists, assistants and secretaries are always so great. I highly recommend Stoneridge Dental.

Dr. Hess truly cares about his patients. I have since moved from the area, but he is still the first person I refer friends and family to. My own family still see him. Caring quality dental care!

Dr. Hess and staff are excellent. I've had to get two crowns and each time the process was smooth and absolutely painless. Dr. Hess will ask how you're doing every few minutes. Best dentist around.

Not impressed and treated poorly. Take your business else where.

This practice deserves a 5-star rating. I've been going here for over a decade & even though I moved further away years ago, it's worth the drive. Dr. Hess, his staff and the facility are top notch. His work is flawless & stands the test of time. He does it once & does it right. The routine cleanings & such are excellent too. This office gets my highest endorsement & the way the office's calendar fills up in advance, it's clear there are a lot of loyal patients who feel the same way I do. Keep up the great work! (This should go without saying, but like every place of business, medical or otherwise, they do expect timely payment for services rendered.)

I don't take a 1 star review lightly. But though the dental care was fabulous, we have been completely stunned by an instance that leaves us warning everyone we meet never to do business with this office. We have never been treated so badly by a medical office (although they are very nice people in person, and probably good people overall, they are careless and clueless as to how their business practices affect their clients.) We tried to pay our $1800 bill with a medical FSA card, money we put away for medical expenses. But these cards can take time to process due to needed receipts required from past transactions. I kept the office updated on the status of this and they said they would work with us. These weren't payment arrangements, we had the money to pay. Every medical professional we work with understands how these work and provided the payment is scheduled, they work with us since we aren't just degenerates dodging our medical bills. The office apparently got sick of waiting and sent us to collections. They use an extremely aggressive collection agency, Bonneville Collections, who treat people terribly. They used the contracts we had signed to exploit their legal right to charge us huge amounts of money and actually sued us and obtained a judgement for $3800. I called Dr Hess' office and asked to pay them directly and they declined, knowing what the collection company was doing. I explained the damage this was causing and they simply did not care. (Companies will say it is out of their hands because they don't want to be bothered with retracting an account from their collection agency.) This was a huge hit for our credit, our finances and our confidence in how some people choose to do business. Please, if you choose to do business here, consider following the advice that a lawyer I spoke with gave to me. You do not have to sign the agreements saying you will pay fees up to 40% of the bill in case of collection. Change it to something fair like 18%. (And you do not have to sign the arbitration clause. These clauses are not in your best interest.) A collection agency-happy company like this one who uses the most ruthless agency can totally mess up your credit just because they legally can...because we sign things thinking we have to. Even when you have the money to pay. I don't know about you, but when I walk into an appointment and hear "your insurance has been processed for the last several appointments and you owe $1800 now", I want to work with someone who won't offload me to collections just because I need to free up my medical card. Could I have helped this situation? I'm sure there are things I could have done to make the process a bit quicker. But, let's recognize that medical billing and insurance, in general, is a paperwork nightmare already and that there is a big difference between people who won't pay and people who are trying. Why be litigious and heartless about it? It really does make all the difference.

I have been with Dr. Hess for years. They have always treated me and my family of 6 with the most kindness. i honestly don't think I have been to a Dr. office or dentist office that have kinder people working. They do an excellent job on your teeth as well. I have never had any problems with billing or anything. This is a GREAT place!!!!
