Later, he relocated to United States where he obtained his second Orthodontics specialist degree and Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) from Jacksonville University, School of Orthodontics and where he was later joined as Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthodontics. He also served as President of the Venezuelan Society of Orthodontics and as Executive Committee Member of the Latin-American Association of Orthodontics. He has published some papers related to the specialty and has been invited to give lectures at different orthodontic meetings nationally and internationally. He is a Member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) and Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO).
Dr. Betancourt enjoys spending his free time with his wife Chiara (also an Orthodontist) and their daughters Alessandra and Annabella, traveling, and doing outdoor activities. He also enjoys playing drums with his lifelong friends.

Dr. Prida is AWESOME! I cant say enough good things about the care i recieved here. Ive never been there and woke up with 2 abscessed teeth that were so bad the infection nearly went into my sinus cavity. They got me in first thing, and did 2 extractions, 2 bone graphs, and 2 mucoperiosteal flap elevations immediately. I never felt anything, and they let me know exactly what was covered by insurance and what everything would cost. Sherry, RDA was FANTASTIC! So sweet and genuine. This place is tops! They're my go to from here on out! Thank you so much, Dr. Prida, Sherry and staff for being so great!

My family and I had recently moved to McKinney and my daughter had Severe pain due to her wisdom teeth. We were super fortunate to find Dr. Prida @ Stonelodge Dental. One word to describe Dr. Prida and his entire staff's services and that is EXCEPTIONAL!!! Dr. Prida and his staff did an amazing job in explaining every step of my daughter's wisdom teeth extraction and performed the procedure with the utmost care and focus while making my daughter feel safe and comfortable during the entire process. The post procedure was also outstanding as Dr. Prida showed much care for my daughter's well being that he went above and beyond by having the medicine ready in his office that we went straight home for her quick recovery. Dr. Prida and the staff gave my daughter a 5 star treatment. Because of this positive experience, my family and I have had our dental work done by Dr. Prida and we too have received the same 5 star service. We have had routine and preventive care as well as recommended measures by Dr. Prida. Another recommended service is the teeth whitening procedure which has made my wife happy! Dr PRIDA and all of his staff are awesome! I am not a fan of getting in the dental chair. Once I did I felt relaxed and confident on getting my crown done... didn't even feel the shot!... dr PRIDA put on my favorite music ( tv above your head to watch) he sang and worked on my tooth I was laughing also. Then in no time I was done... if I would of waited longer on getting my tooth done I would have had a root canal! He saved me from that! Thank god.. I recommend him to my family and friends... cheri

I have PTSD from a previous doctor so I was extremely nervous, I even cried at his office today, and they all made me feel so safe, cared for and made extra sure to keep communicating with me while I was getting my root canal & temporary crown done to help my nerves. I had zero pain!!! I can't recommend this clinic enough. At Stonelodge Dental you can expect to be treated with respect, genuine care and honesty. I'm so grateful!!

I brought my 15 year old son in to have his wisdom teeth taken out. This was an amazing experience for not only him but my self as well! The whole procedure went flawless and my son was in and out with minimal pain! Dr Prida even had his after care meds delivered to the office so we wouldn't have to make an extra stops on the way home! During that same visit Dr Prida also saw my 8 month old daughter for her very first dental check up! He gave Aubrey her very first tooth brush and dental care package! He was phenomenal with both children!!

It was time to make a change in my life and I decided to start with the area that I was very unhappy with which WAS my smile. I hated taking pictures and would always be the person that would volunteer to be the photographer. I started researching my options for implants and came across Stonelodge Dental. I went in for my initial consultation and immediately felt like the staff cared and would put my well being above profit. I took a couple of weeks to think about it finally decided it was time to "do me" and move forward with the implants. The surgery lasted 13 hours which is not typical, but due to some "complications" on my end, it lasted longer than normal. Not once did I feel any pain whatsoever. It has been 72 hours since the surgery and I still have not had ANY pain from the surgery. Dr. Pridi and his team are the best ever. I feel like they are my family and I am so glad that I made the decision to allow them to perform my surgery. No regrets at all.

Over the last 3 years I've had major medical problems and I have gone to 6 different types of doctors. But Dr. Prida and his associates / assistants at Stonelodge Dental provide the absolute best care that I have had. They love helping people. They welcome you at the door and make you feel like you are part of their family. And in many ways you are because they really care about their patients ! They care about our lives and our well-being. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable even when you are going through a somewhat difficult surgery.
