According to the American Academy of Periodontology, approximately three out of four Americans suffer from some form of gum disease from mild cases of gingivitis, to the more severe, periodontitis. The early stage of gum disease, gingivitis, is characterized by mild symptoms ranging from red, swollen gums to gums that bleed every time you floss. Gingivitis is completely reversible with non-invasive treatments and proper at-home care; however, if left untreated, gingivitis can progress to periodontitis, a more serious form of gum disease.

Although youll be very relaxed, you will still be awake and able to talk to our doctors. Because the effects of the sedative can linger, we require you have someone drive you home.

Stonebrook is absolutely the best dentist ever! Having gone to multiple dentists all over the country, this is by far the most thoughtful dental practice and group of individuals I've ever encountered. They are very professional, helpful, and go above and beyond to help with scheduling appointments, insurance, and any issues. Top notch. Highly recommend!!

My son hurt his mouth during a basketball game and we needed a dentist to quickly assess the damage. The office was so accommodating and got my son in same day (in the evening even!) even though he wasn't a current patient. Dr. Varley was so easy to work with and very pleasant. We appreciate all the help!

Dr. Varley's office staff make me look forward to my 6 month check ups. From the check in to the check out everyone who works there is friendly and professional. My hygienist is thorough and pleasant. I trust Dr. Varley completely with my dental care. I have been a patient of his for many years.

I like to have my teeth cleaned 3 times a year. When getting one of my cleanings Stonebrook said my insurance would not cover the extra cleaning and I would have to pay cash. I did. Months later when investigating an issue with my insurance company, I found out that they ran the cleaning through my insurance and got paid out for it. I had to call and ask to get a refund. They said they would send it. A month or so later after not receiving the refund, I had to call again and ask for the refund. I finally received it. It's questionable if I would have ever gotten the refund had I not discovered the mistake myself. Due to my insurance company possibly releasing my private information to my ex-husband. I filed a HIPAA complaint against my insurance. I notified my dentist I planned to due this. Then when it was time for my next appointment, I arrived and was notified they had cancelled my appointment and would no longer see me as a patient because I filed a HIPAA complaint and they considered that a breach of trust. They never even notified me that my appointment was cancelled and now wouldn't see me??? Trust was breached? Is this retribution for filing a complaint? You decide who was shady in this situation...the company who got paid twice and didn't offer up a refund until they got caught or the person who just wanted their rightful money back and their private information kept private. **In reference to their response** I did not in any way threaten their office or staff. I stated I was going to file a HIPAA complaint and if that is a treat...well then, that should be worrisome to potential clients. The breach of my private information may have been my insurance companies mistake, but taking double payment and not providing a refund until I found out and asked for it was entirely their mistake.

If you have a fear of dentist visits (like me), Stonebrook Family Dental will free all of your anxieties and take care of you like family. I neglected taking care of a toothache until I was in immense pain. I had been to 2 other dentists that let me leave in pain. I requested an emergency appointment with Dr. Varley, and Shelby (receptionist) made sure I was seen that day. Dr. Varley and his technicians were so gentle and calming. I was so nervous that at one point the technician began stroking my hair and telling me it would be okay. I am a grown adult! I left pain free, and confident that I had been taken care of by nothing less than angels!!

This whole office is awesome, I called with some Major! pain and may face had swollen and I felt fine that morning. With in 2 hours I was in the dentist chair and out of pain. I had a cracked tooth and needed a root canal, which they did on the spot. Right away and could tell they were going to take good car of me. The office was extremely clean and they wore masks the whole time I was there. I would totally recommend stonebrook to everyone. Thanks again Oh and the pricing was bad either!

Had a great experience. The hygienist & Dr. Varley both made me feel comfortable and at ease. The hygienist took her time with cleaning my teeth and was very thorough. Probably the best teeth cleaning that I've ever had. She was sensitive to my needs and making sure that nothing was bothering me. The office was very clean & I felt safe. I highly recommend them.

I've been going to this dentist for about 3 years now! I feel so welcomed every time I walk in the door! If I scheduled just a cleaning but I told the dentist I feel pain in a certain area, he will drop everything and get down to the bottom of the problem to make sure I am not in pain when I walk out of that door! If you are someone who dreads going to the dentist like me, schedule here because they will make you feel so comfortable, relaxed and make sure you are happy with the ending result.

Myself and my family have been coming to this office and seeing Dr. Varley for the past two years. The staff and doctor always take care of us. They work with getting us in with the tough schedule my family always seems to have and our visits are always pleasant. Even my stubborn husband doesn't mind coming because he really likes Dr. Varley and his main assistant!
