Patricia Wood, DDS Dr. Patricia A. Wood grew up in Northern Virginia. She completed her undergraduate education at George Mason University, receiving a B.S. in biology and a minor in psychology. Dr. Wood went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating summa cum laude.
During her dental school career, Dr. Wood realized her true passion was working with children. She continued her education by specializing in the pediatric dentistry graduate program at Virginia Commonwealth University. During Dr. Woods time in the program, she was awarded the role of chief resident and earned her Master of Science in Dentistry degree.
Dr. Wood is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Dental Association and Northern Virginia Dental Society.
Over the past 10 years she has been practicing in Northern Virginia, providing heartfelt dental solutions and patient care. Dr. Woods goal is to award each child with individualized patient centered care and treatment for their specific needs.

Everyone was very friendly. Check in and wait time were quick. The office was clean and neat. My kids got a balloon, a token for toys and a little gift bag with a cute toothbrush and toothpaste after their visits. Surely made them feel special! They enjoyed their visits so much that they couldn't stop talking about it! Dr. Wood and her staffs are amazing!

This is the second time visiting and we love everyone at this office. All the staff are super friendly, especially Olivia. Dr. Wood and her assistants were amazing and made my children very comfortable. Now my kids enjoy coming to the dentist. The place is very clean and the game room is a hit. Highly recommended!

This was my daughter's first dental appointment and the whole staff made it very pleasant experience for her.. they did the complete check up from cleaning to x-rays and not ones my daughter fell uncomfortable. The staff is very friendly.

My kids both go to Stone Ridge Pediatric and enjoy the dentist experience! Everyone makes them feel special and they always give them a balloon and little surprises. They often ask when they can go back to the dentist! They are efficient at getting you in and out but I never feel rushed. The doctor is great with the kids and makes sure they are comfortable. The office is clean and nicely decorated. Overall great!

I am so glad I came across this practice. Dr. Wood is a great pediatric dentist. She does not rush my children, is very patient and is very knowledgeable. She provided several options for a treatment plan and worked with my family on the best option for our situation. Highly recommend her and her staff.

We recently moved to the area and I decided to take my 4 and 8 year old boys to Stone Ridge Pediatric Dentistry. I am so happy with that decision! The office is very kid-friendly and welcoming with games and a prize tower for post-appointment prizes, and they also have tv's on the ceiling keep kids distracted while they are in the dental chair. Both techs that cleaned my sons teeth were friendly and amazing, and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Wood; she is very friendly while still professional and she does a great job of talking to the kids and keeping them comfortable. I also appreciated that the staff was very informative while they worked so that my boys knew everything they were doing to/for their teeth while they worked. We scheduled their next cleanings in advance and I couldn't feel better about bringing my boys back!
