Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the United States, Dr. Rafael A. Perez loves being a Texan, or as he likes to say, a Texirican. At Stone Lake Dental, Dr. Perez performs advanced dental treatments by utilizing innovative techniques and technology to ensure exceptional results for each of our Wichita Falls, TX patients. He enjoys being able to improve his patients quality of life by enhancing the aesthetic appearance and functionality of their smiles.
Dr. Perez specializes in providing general, cosmetic, restorative, and advanced dental treatments at Stone Lake Dental. As a part of general and preventive dentistry, he provides comprehensive dental examinations in order to evaluate the overall oral health of his patients. For patients who are wanting to enhance the appearance of the smile, Dr. Perez offers aesthetic procedures that include smile makeovers, veneers, dental bonding and contouring, and teeth whitening. Through restorative treatments, Dr. Perez is able to fully restore the functionality and health of his patients smiles, while advanced procedures allow him to offer more comfortable and innovative treatment options.
After graduating from Midlothian High School, Dr. Perez entered the U.S. Air Force. He completed a three-year active duty tour, which included Desert Storm, before he landed in Wichita Falls to attend Midwestern State University. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in biology, he went on to Baylor College of Dentistry to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. To stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry, Dr. Perez takes multiple hours of continuing education courses each year in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, dental implants, and current technologies.
Dr. Perez and his wife, Alissa, have been happily married for ten years. They have two sons, Gavin and Cruz, a daughter, Annabella, as well as three Shih Tzus, Lola, Pippa, and Penelope. When hes not in the office, Dr. Perez enjoys spending time with his family, being involved with his church, and helping others. He also serves on the board for Inheritance Adoptions.

Huge rave to Dr. Perez and Freedom! I am a special needs patient and they took great care of me today for my filing. I'm 85% hearing impaired and also have had a horrible dental experience that was very painful. I eventually found a dentist that was extremely kind and gentle but he retired. My medical doctor highly suggested Dr. Perez but I was a nervous wreck anticipating today's procedure. He numbed me with a topical first and proceeded very slowly with both injections. He wasn't lying when he said I'd only feel a short sting in my pallet. It was very tolerable! I have alot of work to do, mainly implants, and I'm excited to say that my only issue now is doing work as I can afford it rather then stress and putting it off. Thank you all so much, including the ladies up front who are always kind and helpful :) I'm happy to have a dentist again.

Lindsey has been our dental hygienist for 20 years and she is excellent at her profession. My two teenagers and I look forward to having our teeth cleaned. I would highly recommend Stone Lake Dental.

Dr. Perez is an excellent dentist who truly cares about his patients, their well being and their over all health and life goals. He always has a kind smile and wonderful outlook on life. Every time I have an appointment, I feel like I always leave a little more wiser for it. Janet is just as incredible - always has a pleasant demeanor, remembering the small things about my family and work, and gives me the BEST, most thorough cleaning for my teeth. I wholeheartedly recommend Stone Lake Dental / Dr. Perez / Janet!

My family and I have been with this office for more than 20 years and we won't go anywhere else. I also had bad experiences with other dentists in the past that it has caused anxiety every time I go see one for checkups or issues, but Dr. perez always does an amazing job in fixing any issue. I had a horrible tooth infection and the pain was excruciating. I was amazed to found out I had absolutely zero pain even after the numbing gel wore off and the pain just all vanished!

I didnt really think to much into it until today when i was reading reviews from the Denist. So My wife recently had work done at stone lake dental. She needed 2 teeth pulled. The reception and majority of personal was very nice and friendly. However, she went back had the teeth pulled and after it was over and she was done. She asked about something for pain for a couple days. (I wouldn't think this is a issue seeing two teeth was just pulled. I know when I had some work done I was given a weeks worth of pain meds. Different places.) the Dentist told her we do not give pain meds just go take Tylenol and advil and you will be OK. I bring this up now because I have seen reviews that talked about how great the work was and how they gave pain meds to help with the pain. So not only do we feel she was lied to but she was in so much pain the last couple of days when she could of been more comfortable. I will never recommend this denist office nor will us or our kids ever go back here again!

Amazing atmosphere! Immediately they make you feel welcome. Always greeted with a smile and laughter at this office. The receptionists are thorough and keep you informed and are always prompt in returning calls. Ease of getting an appointment is a plus. Lyndie and Dr Perez are phenomenal. Their caring and competent nature's ease anxious patients. Honest, trustworthy care is what they provide. It was a blessing to find Stonelake Dental. Forever grateful for all they have done.

I know there are some great dental offices in Wichita Falls, but these folks (Dr. Sarah and Ms. Lindsey) take good care of me, and I wouldn't trade my visits there for anything. Dentists, hygienists, receptionists--all wonderful.

I was nervous about going back to the dentist after years not going. Dr. Perez made me comfortable and the staff has been great every single visit. If you're hesitant to go back to the dentist, do it, and go to Stone Lake Dental!
