No, Invisalign doesnt hurt at all! Making tiny but constant movement to your teeth, you wont feel a thing. You also wont have to worry about wires and brackets poking you as you would with traditional braces!

I was born with a cleft lip and palate and absolutely hated the way I looked, as well as how my teeth looked. However, when my teeth were fixed, it made everything I had been through worth it. I want to use my gifts and talents to help others who may not like their smile. I want to change lives and love and care for others well.
Dr. Stokes regularly gives of her time to the community. Annually, she sponsors field trips to her office to teach third-grade students about the importance of good dental health. Her office also goes to the schools to speak to third graders about dental health. Her commitment to the community is also displayed in her generous charity involvement.
Dr. Stokes has served on the board of directors of several professional organizations and is active in her church and community. Faith, family, and community have always been important to Dr. Stokes. Because of her strong Christian faith, her practice philosophy is that the patient always comes first. She and her husband, Jerry, were high school sweethearts and have three children, Emma, Griffin, and Brody. Dr. Stokes enjoys reading, swimming, watching movies, and anything involving her children and family.
I started my own orthodontic journey with Dr. Bill Robinson, who actually owned this practice before Dr. Lisa Stokes and then she finished my orthodontic treatment. Its really amazing to be able to come full circle and join the same practice and have that opportunity to serve the community that helped me become the person I am.
In addition to her educational accomplishments and experiences, Dr. Emory-Carter places emphasis on community involvement. She frequently engages in local events and enjoys the many benefits of small towns and close-knit communities.

They are the most amazing women! They know your name by the second time you go in and they always make sure you are doing good. I absolutely love tthem! Thanks so much for making my teeth look amazing!

Everyone was very friendly and kind. However, their prices are pretty high. My child has a typical mouth.. nothing too out of the ordinary for braces. They were thousands of dollars more compared to somewhere similar. They also explained to me how they use the wires, brackets etc. Basically they use them till the end of their recommended usage. This is smart for them because it keeps material costs down. However, for me, purely as a consumer.. I'm not totally comfortable with the way this was explained to me. Lastly, they explained that they won't need to see my child for up to 6 to 8 weeks in between visits because they send home a device that your child puts in their mouth that takes pictures and sends it back to them. What if this device misses something? Plus we were brand new patients and had to wait 40 minutes to even be seen. So you're telling me I have to pay over 7 grand, they use materials to their maximum in the mouth, they don't see my child but once every two months and they make you wait. Again, very nice people. But just be aware.

With so many orthodontics in the area, I was indecisive of which practice to choose. I took a leap of faith with Stokes & Carter. After 8 months of excellent service, I am very happy with my decision. It was tough adjusting to life with braces, but a big shoutout to Jennifer and McKenzie who always encourage me to see the end results. It's a guarantee that you are never greeted without a smile from Terry and the rest of the front desk. Thank you Stokes & Carter for your expertise and civility.

Dr. Stokes and team have treated both of my children & myself with the most excellent of care. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for orthodontic treatments. From the minute you walk in to the time you leave you are feel like family. This is my second time in braces. The first was at age 28, and now at 52. My first experience in braces at a different office in a different state, does not hold a candle to how this Dr. Stokes and staff have been. I am over the moon happy with how our families smiles look!
