At Advanced Pediatrics, weve taken special care to develop a model for pediatric care which combines the benefits and services of a larger group practice with the personalized care of a smaller physician office. We are committed to our customer service slogan - 'Big enough to meet your needs. Small enough to show we care!' Our providers and staff strive to provide personalized, compassionate care, while our larger size and years of experience allow us to offer a wide range of services to meet your needs.

Weve taken special care to develop the services parents need in caring for their children as they grow. Our provider staff consists of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who specialize in providing pediatric care for children from infancy through adolescence.

We focus on the health and well-being of the whole child and believe in the importance of continuity of care (including regular well care and immunizations). We strive to foster a caring partnership with families. Our goal is to provide a 'medical home' to our patients, where families can expect compassionate and comprehensive pediatric care, convenient access to quality after-hours advice, and professional coordination of care between our providers and community specialists and services.

Advanced Pediatrics supports childrens health in the communities where we live and work. Thats why we support events that promote fitness and good health for kids. This year we're sponsoring the following events and hope your family can participate!

If youve never heard of this series, its a timed race for all ages and levels of experience that takes place over five weeks. Running events include the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids compete each week for a chance to earn points. At the end of the Series the boys and girls who accumulate the most points in their respective distances are awarded trophies. All participants receive a medal on Week 5!

Justin loved LEGOs and was a self-proclaimed Cancer Fighting Ninja and Lego Master. His family created a foundation after his death called the Just-in-Time Foundation to continue to provide support, resources, and information to families with children impacted by cancer.

In honor of Justin, Advanced Peds collected approximately 60 sets of LEGOs that will be given by the Just-in-Time Foundation to children being hospitalized at Children's Hospital Colorado. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who donated!

Aurora Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKR Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids compete each week for a chance to earn points. At the end of the Series the boys and girls who accumulate the most points in their respective distances are awarded trophies. All participants receive a medal on Week 5!

Sign your child up for the Kids Triathlon by reserving a swim block on Saturday, August 22nd or Sunday, August 23rd between 8-11:30 AM located at Runway 35 pool. Participants will check in at the front desk of the pool, swim the distance required by age, then exit the back gate to pick up their bag and Tri-Card. Participants have a week to complete the running and biking portion supervised by a parent or guardian.

On Sunday, August 30th, come by the North Green with the completed Tri-Card to receive a medal and have your picture taken by professional photographers. We will not be timing or awarding champions at this years event.

A Virtual Race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog or walk on the grass, on the sidewalk, on the trail, on the treadmill or on the track. Your child will run their age appropriate race distance, at their own pace, and Mom and Dad record the time! Parents then upload the time after each race into the Series specific results sheet found on our Results Page. Families can also choose their own start and finish line, or if available, use an existing one provided by HKRS!

Recent, and past, demonstrations of violence, racism, and inequality in America provide fresh evidence that we have a long way to go on the road to equality. Advanced Pediatrics stands against unequal treatment based on differences and advocates for diversity in our practice, communities, and our country.

We embrace and encourage differences in age, color, disability, ethnicity, family, or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics that make each person unique.

The Advanced Pediatrics team has compiled a list of resources and we encourage you to read, educate yourself and your family, and share resources like these with others. There's much work to do. It's time to make real progress. We hope you'll join us.
