Dr. Richard Stoker loves Idaho and is grateful to be able to lay down his roots in the heart of this great state. Dr. Stoker grew up on a farm in Lewisville, and attended Rigby High School where he participated in basketball and football. He later served an LDS mission to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Upon returning he attended and graduated from Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho), dental school at the University of Pittsburgh, and later completed his Residency at the University of Colorado, where he also practiced dentistry for five years before returning to Idaho Falls to establishStoker Family Dental.
Dr. Stoker is honored to serve the community of such a great town. He especially enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Stoker loves the outdoors where he spends his time snowmobiling, motorcycling, camping, boating, scuba diving, and mountain biking with his dear wife Sara and their three children; Kamren-10, Briley-8, and Ali-2.

Their own answering service said they open at 0800, but the employees didn't even come in the door until 0845. And the dentist who seen me, said he wouldn't do my root canal, which was why I scheduled my appointment, because my nerve is too close to my root. So they referred me to an endodontist, by JUST giving me thier number to make yet another appointment! Which I do, and the endodontist office said they don't take outside referrals? so I couldn't even make my own appointment. Awesome! They only reason why I went to this dentist office, was because my actual dentist won't take my insurance. Sooooo I hope I'm not stuck here. But they aren't making me hopeful with their office.

Dr. Stoker has been very gentle when working on my teeth! My husband who was scared to death of going to the dentist even went with my pushing and now feels very comfortable going to Dr. Stoker. His staff is very nice also! The thing I like the best is that I only have to make one trip to get a crown because they make them right there in the office!

My 4 year old had his first dental visit and this office was wonderful! Nan cleaned his teeth and was so very patient with him. She took the time to explain everything to him and calm his fears from his first time. She did a wonderful job cleaning them. He was so excited that he got a toothbrush "because he did so good." They even had super hero toothbrushes, which made his world compete! We will definitely be coming back.

I've been going to Dr Stoker for about 3 years now. They can always get me in quickly. I never have to wait, and I'm always pleased with his work. The Dr never seems rushed. The staff is always so nice. They knew me by name from the first visit on. I have nothing bad to say about Dr Stoker or his staff and I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

Dr. Stoker is AMAZING! I have been to Stoker Dental twice now. The staff is wonderful, and Dr. Stoker doesn't make you feel bad about your teeth, which is a HUGE PLUS when it comes to having to go to the Dentist. EXTREMELY affordable, will be continuing care with Dr. Stoker. THANK YOU!

Love this dentist for a variety of reasons. They work with you and the staff is great. It's the first dentist I've gone to in a long time that really focuses on patient care. Great place to go!!!

Great staff that helps you feel comfortable and does great quality work! They really care and they tell you what they suggest to do and let you choose. I took my 4 and 2 year old children and they worked fantastic with them and made it a fun experience that will not traumatize them. Definitely recommend!

It is always helpful as a busy mom to get my kids an appointment together. Stoker Dental is always willing to accommodate our crazy schedule and they even were able to fix some cavities at the same time to save me another trip!

I love Stoker Dental! They really are awesome and make the whole experience of going to the dentist comfortable and easy. The dental hygienists are always super friendly and always seem to remember my husband and I even though it's been 6 months. They have changed my mind about the dentist.
