Stephen Petras DMD, MAGD, FICOI is director of the Stockton Dental Center where he has been practicing dentistry since 1987. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at Loyola University and earned his dental degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1986. Since that time, he has acquired over 1200 hours of continuing dental education encompassing all areas of dentistry, including over 400 hours dedicated to hands on skills and techniques.

Dr. Petras received his fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantology in 2014, his Mastership Award in 2006 and his Life Long Service Recognition 2016 from the Academy of General Dentistry. These awards are the highest honor available in the AGD and one of the most respected designations in the profession. Dr. Petras is also a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Grant Dental Society, International Association of Orthodontics, American Association of Implant Dentistry and is currently serving as President of the Northern Illinois Academy of General Dentistry and Past President of the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry.

His mission is to provide the community with the finest quality dentistry in a warm, friendly, and caring environment. Dr. Petras is deeply committed to improving his knowledge and skills and providing his service with friendship and compassion.

Dr. CaitlinPullara grew up in Janesville, Wisconsin. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin- Madison and Wisconsin Lutheran College before attending dental school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Prior to moving to the Stockton area, she served the area of Shorewood, Illinois as a general dentist.

Dr. Caitlin has established herself as a skillful and compassionate clinician early in her career. Her dedication to giving back to her community has been evident from an early age, and combining that drive with her commitment to providing quality dentistry is something that is very important to her. She is devoted to building trust with patients and remains active in post-graduate learning. Dr. Caitlin is looking forward to the opportunity to establish herself as a healthcare professional and community leader in northwest Illinois.

Dr. Caitlin and her husband are excited to relocate to the Stockton area. Outside of the office, Dr. Caitlin enjoys watching her Wisconsin sports teams, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.

Iamthe Office Manager/Dental Assistant for Stockton Dental Center. I joined the staffin March 1991 as a dental assistant. Through my many years here at Stockton Dental Center I have reached many goals both personally and professionally. I have completed many hours of continuing education on general dentistry, radiology, orthodontics, and TMJ. I received my certificates for dental assisting, coronal polishing,and dental sealants. I enjoy working chair side with Dr. Petras during all procedures, but especially love orthodontics. I cherish my dental career and the friendships I've made with patients and employees.

I joined the team at Stockton Dental Center in December of 2018 as the Financial Coordinator. I have over a decade of experience in the field of finance. I love working at this office with the team members as well as the patients. It is a fun and friendly environment with something different to look forward to everyday.

I live outside of Stockton with my fianc, two dogs, and bearded dragon. I moved from California to Illinois when I was 7 years old, and I really enjoy this area and everything it has to offer. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends and family, paint, go fishing, kayak, hiking, and enjoy the outdoors.

I have3 healthy and beautiful kids, Gracie, Jeremiah, and Silas. I love spending time with my children. They grow up so fast. The older they get, the busier I get, but enjoying every minute. In my spare time, I love to go running and have completed 2 half marathons so far but would love to do more in the future.

Believe it or not, my interest in the dental field actually started at a very young age. Yes, I know, I know Yuck! Teeth!? Why Teeth!? Well, to cut a long story short, I was a thumb sucker (ahhh!) And in order to correct damage done I was to enter in to braces. And to be in them for 3 years! This, at that age, felt like an eternity! However, during those 3 years, I started to develop a real interest in the world of dentistry. Nine years later, in the spring of 2010, I graduated from Parkland College with a degree in Dental Hygiene and was able to FINALLY achieve and reach my dream job!

I officially joined Stockton Dental Center and Dr. Petras staff in September 2015. Becoming a part of the Stockton team has added so much to my career as a hygienist. In my seven years of hygiene I can honestly say Ive never been a part of a team so strong & dedicated to education and comradery. This all just adds to a life that is fulfilled with family, friends, travel, andall things outdoors!!

I started at Stockton Dental Center in April 2014 as a dental assistant. I completed dental hygiene school in May 2019 and I am excited to continue to be a part of the SDC team. Everyone at our office makes coming to work fun and we are like one big family.

I started as a dental assistant at Stockton Dental Center in 1996. I graduated from Rock Valley College, where I attended Dental Assisting classes. I also received my certificate for coronal polishing and dental sealants. I continue my education by attending seminars and dental meetings. I love my participation with the Stockton Dental Team. I am involved in helping Dr. Petras provide quality dentistry while making sure the patient feels comfortable and at ease. I understand how stressful going to dentist can be for some people & I am there to help you overcome this.

I am married to a wonderful man & have 5 lovely children, 2 granddaughters, and 2 grandsons. We love camping, boating, and of course, 'The Bears'. We love the community where we have grown up. I am excited to see friends and family & help them with their dental needs.
