Dr. J Richard Landgraf graduated from Saint Louis Universitys School of Dentistry and served three years in the Navy. In 1980, he opened the location on New Florissant Rd. Dr John Landgraf graduated from Washington University and joined his fathers practice in Florissant. In 2014, Dr. Sean Landgraf joined his father after graduating from UMKCs dental school. They are most excited about their second location on Lindbergh road which opened in 2019.
The family care delivered by Dr. J. Richard Landgraf years ago inspires our office today. Our highly trained staff are experts in a many dental treatments. This includes: Root Canal Therapy on all types of teeth; Oral Surgery (including moderately difficult cases and wisdom teeth extractions); Orthodontics and Dental Orthopedics; Dental Implants and Restorations; Relaxation Techniques for anxious patients; Cosmetic dental makeovers; and Full and Partial Dentures. When necessary, we also have ties to numerous dental specialists in the area who are happy to receive referrals from our office on complex cases.

Dr. Sean Landgraf, DDS is the third generation of the family to join the practice. He graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry and is excited to carry on the family business. He always knew dentistry was the career for him and started working toward it at a young age. He is now a proud member of the STL Mid County Dental team. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater St Louis Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Sean said his love for dentistry stems from his enjoyment in fixing things. When not in the office, he enjoys repairing broken items and bringing them back to life. Its extremely satisfying repairing things, I feel the same way after helping people with dentistry. Dr. Sean also enjoys St. Louis sporting events, the outdoors, and traveling.
Dr.Pyle grew up in a suburb of Kansas City called Lenexa, KS with his four siblings. He has been a big familyman his whole life, despite not having a wife or kids himself. He still frequently heads home to see his family as often as time permits. Dr. Pyle attended Kansas State University and received his Biology degree in four years, then attending A.T. Still University for dental school soon after.
Dr. Pyle enjoys reading and being outdoors, as well as rollerblading in his free time. He looks forward to traveling and continuing to increase his dental knowledge and abilities, as well as giving back to the community wherever possible.
Dr. John Landgraf began his career in dentistry over 35 years ago, when he worked as a dental laboratory technician making crowns and dentures for dentists. In dental practice for over 25 years, Dr. Landgraf remains on top of his profession in order to provide patients the best dental care available. An honors graduate of Washington University School of Dental Medicine, he is also a past instructor in the Universitys Department of Operative Dentistry.
Dr. Landgraf is able to offer his patients the best options because he completes more than twice the required continuing education for licensure each year. He is also a member of local study clubs, which provide professional forums to explore developments in the dental field.
Dr. Landgraf is an active member of the American Dental Association, the International Association of Orthodontics, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also volunteers as a staff dentist at the Community Health in Partnership Services (CHIPS) Clinic and as an educator to train and certify dental assistants performing expanded dental functions. Patients can feel confident that Dr. Landgraf possesses the background, the experience, and the passion to provide the best available dental care.

Dr Sean and staff are wonderful, great "chair side" visit in planning a restoration plan. Good common sense approach with no add on treatments. My needs are now complete and very pleased with their work. STL Mid-County Dental has a very nice facility, clean and well organized. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Saint Louis Mid county dental is an upscale dental facility with timely, professional and painless work. I have always been pleased with their procedures and they are quite informative in how to maintain good dental hygiene. They are the best!

My family has been going to Florissant Dental for almost 10 years and now to Mid County Dental because of the amazing doctors and staff. Dr's John and Sean are both amazing and absolute experts in their field. Very understanding and empathetic, funny and confident. Dr. John has done root canals on me twice, on my husband as well as mother in law and they are still as good as day one. No matter what doctor/hygienist is working on your teeth, you are in great hands. I actually enjoy going to the dentist here! They accept emergency walk ins as well.

I've had appointments twice at this location and everything that Florissant Dental is Mid County mirror's them. Courteous and promptnesses are very essential. Not to mention great dental work.
